I've always been lucky because I stay in JB and normally join tours with tour company in Singapore, the more reputable ones like Chan Brothers, Hong Thai, and what they tell you is what you will get...as you know,,,,,if you lie to a bloody singaporean, they will complaint you by writting letter to all govt bodies until you vomit blood.

I guess it's the same in malaysia, go for those more reputable ones.
