Aspire, for the mhl cable need to use v2 I read somewhere coz the signal output from s3 and note2 using this. Dont know if the s3 one is the same or not. But I suppose getting a dlna or wifidirect adapter for yr tv will be a truly wireless experience.

Yep, confirmed can't use the old MHL cable. I tried with my Note 1 MHL cable and there is no output over HDMI

For mhl ori cable I saw cheapest was in sri computer lyp few months back rm40 but didn't get coz see no point. If I did it would be to play games on bigsscreen but then wifidirect will be a lot better for this use case.

Guys, my note 2 proximity sensor(1st sensor) glow a red dot when phone locked.  It only can be seen on dark environment.

Is this normal?

how do I transfer all my save games from my old android device to my Note? mine is not rooted. dont intend to root the phone.

i think not possible to transfer without going thru backup and restore with apps like Titanium Backup which requires root.  Need sifu Uncle Benny to confirm this.

Not yet root my Note II and transfer all the data from Tab 7.7 yet.  Will do it over the weekend.  Will need to do Rooting definitely - much easier and faster to do it in batch.
