Disagree with India, if u check some info in Internet, India only have 2.1% users for iPhone.and we have more population n don't think our country demand is lesser to Singapore.

2.1% of 2 billion.

that's our whole country population dude.

Maxis need wait news from apple this is for sure. If apple don't give shyt to Malaysia then we can't do anything also. Once the iPhone 5 stock in to Malaysia , the technician have to test them also . And then follow their project plan to sell it .

Sampling, testing and certification may come much earlier. It's highly likely that partnering telcos do receive early unit in advance for this purpose (compliancy with network, etc). And it's not just them, even certification boards such as Sirim does. So you may wonder bout the sirim stickers being put onto the locally-sticked warranty cards.

I do believe same applies for much other devices in our market.

nobody knows what will be the actual retail prices for the iPhone 5 here, why don't just buy it through apple online store when it becomes available here?

is this first batch iphone 5?
Hmm... I found that there have still many countries still not launch iPhone 5 yet. Foxconn should be more strictly to assembly iPhone 5 now, the following batch of iPhone 5 should be getting better and better quality.

I was found Apple facebook page at here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Apple-Inc/13...ster=ts&fref=ts
Hope you can try to message to Apple and ask them when iPhone 5 will launch in Malaysia.
*
How can they manage to produce to meet the demand when each time new countries launch the device more and more orders are coming in and for those countries yet to launch will only pushed more further away until Apple can assure that new orders are able to produce in time for shipping from those countries yet to launch the device

Apple's partners in India have confirmed that the iPhone 5 will be reaching the subcontintent's shores tomorrow, November 2nd. We'll likely hear an announcement from Apple shortly, possibly mentioning other countries to which the handset is also headed. Lack of compatible LTE networks notwithstanding, the starting prices for an upgrade will be 45,500 rupees ($850) for the 16GB variant, moving on to 52,500 rupees ($980) for 32GB, and 59,500 rupees ($1,110) for the 64GB model -- enough to buy a brand new 150cc motorbike in Mumbai.

i got a theory - maxis not interested in iphone anymore coz they are no more the exclusive ones - the other 2 are in the game as well and available in online store since 4S so concentrate on the green robot - better returns - just a guess

but whats a assumed fact though - Thailand better market then ours for Apple - quote 2 APR
