Didn't know that Joker 2 getting lukewarm reviews, I was scrolling thru Instagram and saw Joaquin Phoenix & Lady Gaga getting standing ovations when the film got screened at Venice Film Festival so I was under impression that it might be good.
Mostly these reviewers are baiting for attention such IGN and Rotten Tomatoes. Personally, I don't buy to any of those cents but for the industry and director views', it benefits them to narrate for promotional purposes if they received positive reviews from the critics.
Let's look back at the previous Joker (2019) review (biasedly chose Rotten Tomatoes) and the outcomes out of it:
"Joker" was divisive among critics, receiving both praise for Joaquin Phoenix's performance and criticism for its dark tone and controversial themes. Some felt it glamorized violence, while others appreciated its boldness. It holds a
69% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the mixed reviews, "Joker" earned
11 nominations and won two Oscars: Best Actor for
Joaquin Phoenix and Best Original Score for
Hildur Guðnadóttir.Google votes (mainly voted by the watchers) holds an 88% positive reviews.
Todd Philips said "
(Joaquin) literally said to me, ‘I'm not going to do this unless I'm as scared as I was on the first one.’ … He was petrified on the first movie, the way you want an actor to be. And so the reason he would not be interested in this sequel is because that feeling goes away. And then you're like, ‘What are you doing?’ We weren't scared on Hangover 2 in that way. On this movie, we wanted to be as scared. So we kind of wrote a script that we were all scared of . We kind of wrote a script that would sort of give (Joaquin) that feeling."
Not to forget that Scott Silver said this movie is one of his best creation of his career time. Meanwhile, Joker 2 received an uproarious 12-Minute Standing Ovation at Venice Screening.
Also, I saw someone in the comment said that he/she watched the Joker 2 at Venice and he/she would love to see it again on this October 4th.

Gaga said that Joker 2 isn't really a musical
I'm trying to not hook with anything related to Joker around the internet because I don't to kill the vibe (just like I did for the first one, literally saw Joker end scene photo where he bleeds after the car crash riots) before my IMAX screening
I fully believe that this definitely going to be good and stand with my stance that critic reviews are nothing but just a clown
