problem with most local cinema operators outside of Klang valley

they know nuts about their own system, and any defects/calibration will have to wait for days for their HQ to fix it, especially for those in East Malaysia.

Most halls in those cinemas will have bad speakers or out of calibration projectors after a few months.

My experience with both MBO, TGV and GSC here in Kuching, first 3 months the halls will have one of the best experience in town, but after 3 months or more, problems start cropping out, faulty speakers, dirty stained seats, ghosting effects, and with my most recent trip to the newest cinema TGV Vivacity, IMAX halls center speakers were defective, not as clear and loud as it should be from what I watch few weeks back. 3D-X hall also is a mess, movie screened with bad ghosting, complaint both cases to the staff there, and they told me the movie came in like that doh.gif doh.gif

Endgame IMAX 3D is one of the best IMO

surprisingly this time I didn't get any eye strain for 3 hours of 3D movie!

Oh yeah, a word of advice, if going for movie marathon/back to back movie session, always put IMAX as the last movie to watch

watching IMAX first will make your second movie session in a normal hall feels meh
and you'll be wondering is there something wrong with the screen & speakers or is there something wrong with your eyes & ears in the normal hall tongue.gif
