BTW, can we instruct the service centre on specific windscreen?

Last time, my Honda City windscreen got cracks and after changed, notice the windscreen is "magnify" version.

Can we instruct them not to use these type?

How many times is that gonna be?

It'll last a month or two and you go back in for another wax / wash.

Need to think for the long haul. If you want to make sure your rides look pristine, weekly washes and occasional top ups with wax is recommended.
Ace only sells the black Plastidip if I'm not wrong.
*
Mine is 4 layer waxing.

Can last until 4 months. But normally, I waxed once every half year.

Wash on weekly.

So, if coating is RM2,400 (5 years warranty) so, I extra pay RM600 rclxub.gif

Sometimes cannot say also when doing straight calculations. As a daily drive car, you're bound to get scratches here and there. Minor scratch can be easily repaired, major ones would require a repaint. So you do need to take into account that some detailing work and touch up coating needs to be done. Some offer FOC on touch ups on panels that require repainting etc. Some for a fee.

My fuel consumption from the Fuel Economy Monitor:-

On Shell RON95 (FuelSave @ RM2.10) petrol = average 8.9L/100km (full tank)
On Shell RON97 (VPower @ RM2.80) petrol = average 7.9L/100km (full tank)

** City driving only.
I pump'ed 2 times RON95 and 1 time RON97 usually. Noticed that RON97 VPower gave better pick-up and smoother ride.
*
You should try RON99 VPower.

Even better mileage. Full tank can go 550km, 90% city drive

Mazda Service thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Just received a call from service centre. They were checking whether got any problem with my car.

Told them I only got Monday to bring in to check (Absorber got sound and my HU sometimes freeze and restart itself)

They arranging and slot in for me. thumbup.gif

If Honda, they will INSIST to make appointment. Then ask their foreman to come see how much money can "milk" from it.

Just collected my car from GS this afternoon, had sent it in for the leather seat changover. Overall quite pleased, not an expert but the leather seems to be pretty high quality (Nappa apparently?), and I'm glad I opted for the red stitching (extra RM200) - really suits the interior of the car.

Oh and will post pictures tomorrow when I get some decent shots on my phone smile.gif

I spoke too soon.

Just went to Glemarie. Say today is full cannot fix my absorber. vmad.gif

I said your people ask me to come and do checking but say all technicians are occupied wit other cars. Ask me to rearrange appointment. I told him you think I got the time? Then the SA arrange me to Federal Highway.

Halfway, I called to confirm again but the service centre said full, cannot accept anymore. vmad.gif

Later write to mazda and complain. I see the Glenmarie, no people but say already full. vmad.gif

Yes, soul red is more expensive

The SA also revealed that his boss (the dealer) need to pay more to bring in soul red car, and selling at same price (less revenue margin)  tongue.gif

so I purposely choose soul red  brows.gif  and see whether the dealer give the same service or not  biggrin.gif

with more & more M6 soul red on the road....I believe later this color will become available in non-panel paint workshop....
*
White colour also expensivelah..

Soul Red and Snowflake White will need extra charges as seen in mazda.co.jp and mazdausa.com icon_rolleyes.gif

So, my bumper need touch up and that means extra $$$ cry.gif moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif
