I just called up a SA, asking about the rumors, he said things become complicated with instructions from BERMAZ....hahaha....asked me to come when do official launching on 1-Mar at his branch to know more....may be got freebies....

I thinks with more consumer pressure, and sales drop, BERMAZ will react.

My SA just called, free leather seat upgrade or RM2k rebate. Leather seat will be installed by GS Accessories.

She said no official memo from BERMAZ yet. I think we should wait.

Yea Bro, first batch owner can get ur seats wrapped at 1.2k for Nappa leather.

I've sent them a letter Last night and I urge you all to do so as well.  Maybe we could get something out of them. Well, no harm trying. If at the end they decide not to bother with our concern, we could take up the offer anytime before the end of March. Need more feedback from the first batch owners to give them more Moe pressure..

My previous car, Honda City , I only push max is 160km/h. Reason dare not to push further was scared CVT can't handle it.. 

The speedometer says max is 220km/h

I just confirm with my SA, yes, secoond batch will have free leather seat or rebate. I ask him to check with company whether 1st batch can get or not. Of course rebate is out of question,  just whether can get free leather wrapping.

As long as u did not collect car and sign document. U still can bargain.  We first batch already driving our car. So they can refuse any bargain

I saw the M3C, got one incident where someone change the parts in sg, then found can't use.. But fortunately, it was solved through some firmware update.

BERMAZ rep called me just now, confirm there is a promotion package for the new owner of Mazda 3 of free leather seat or RM2k rebate.

and they also confirmed that for the 1st batch owner also will get the promotion, however they said that maybe more on free leather seat than rebate because we have got the car earlier.

and they advise us to call our SA as they have sent the memo to all dealer about this matter.

I am first batch owner and my seats were upgraded by "authorized mazda partner" which I suspect is GS. Lol SA refused to provide me the leather company name when i ask him for the second time.

Of cos mine was done at additional cost. But cost aside, I highly recommend their service and workmanship.

Definitely cost more than 2K. Just few hundred cheaper than market price for half leather.

But then again my price may be very subjective since this price was offered by my SA as a special discount when I buy car from him.

Anyway, now it's already irrelevant because leather upgrade are offered for free by bermas. If possible my advise is to go for leather instead of rebate.
Mine is first batch, so no promo for free leather yet when I brought the car. If your 2nd batch, should get upgrade for free if you decided to.
