you mean the car is already equipped with it, just need a program to be installed?

if this is software control thing, then probably is easy thing with paying $$....

can the Mazda Service Centre do it for us?
*
not ours, ours has been removed

Well, last I checked, most cbu cars doesn't come with auto lock function due to the new guidelines from NCAP, to getc 5 stars safety rating, cars should not have it..
Due to the fact that they've discovered that in a emergency scenarios, ppl will have hard time trying to save u outta the car from the outside if your car is locked..
Most new CBU doesn't comes with it, Prius C, M3, golf.. etc..

But that's the euro standard with low crime rate.  Doesn't come in handy in Malaysia without the function.. smile.gif
Most ppl can drive without their seatbelt on, but not without the doors locked..
*
and now we need to pay for what we suppose to have.... sad.gif

Altis and Civic are also CBU from Thailand, right? How's the quality?

Afraid this Mazda3 CBU from Thailand has more accessories than the current CBU Japan one.....  sad.gif

Hopefully, once Thailand start production, all the accessories will become available and cheaper....I believe many of you would want to add on something. tongue.gif
*
i doubt they will have more accessories than us at the same price

the reason is, i was waiting for my SA in showroom few days back, i have a look a m6, the m6 2.0 is really a basic unit (no nav, 17" rims, no sunroof, no bi-xenon hl, no paddle shift, no keyless entry and i-eloop) as compare to m3

extra features they had (leather seats, reverse camera, few more cant rmb)

if they include more accessories for m3, think will affect m6 sales, considering the price gap is not huge

imo, given the budget of m6 2.0, i would rather go for m3

Hi guys and seniors, reporting in Mazda 3 soul red. I have it 3 weeks ago.
so far its a great car (LOVE IT) with good handling and power.  rclxms.gif
but just like senior's stories, the absorber have this knocking sound when going uphill.
I forgot to tell the SC Sg Besi about this matter during my 1000 km service (I am in hurry to return to my office)
Friendly workers and SA over Sg Besi branch, too bad i think they were clumsy in handling my car as well  sweat.gif
I saw a paint scratch (about 2 mm X 2 mm in size)  doh.gif  in the inner side of driver's door (the dent was not there BEFORE the 1000 km service)
Too bad (again) i only realized it in the evening time when i went back from my office (i left the car to get serviced at noon)
for me? no use to cry over the spoil milk now. Just need to repaint it one day and i will put my eye more on my car in the future BEFORE doing service
which I will do my service in every 5000 km with semi syn shell helix, they recommend me to use MOTUL for 10.000 km service.
Then I still choose 5000 km interval with semi syn to keep my engine smooth
for those who will do the maintenance over there, maybe you should check your car thoroughly BEFORE and AFTER the service.
Maybe seniors here know another good and reliable Mazda service center around KL?
*
ouch, sad to hear tht, i will bring my car for next svc there, will check as well before and after

all the while thought SC at sungai besi was good, probably can try the branch along Federal highway?

Haha I was thinking bout doing plastidip as well. Was quoted rm600. Only concern is about how well does the coat hold during tyre changing and maintenance.
*
Self diy cost less than 200

Reasonable protection against minor stone chip. Just respray if there is a chip. Plus the rim looks much better in matte black.

I also did for the front and back logo
