Ixora is better. Sheltered pathway. Safer, more convenient and the environment may not be as complicated as houses outside. it's quite expensive though. Maybe after awhile together with your friend you feel like moving out then that would be more appropriate.
*
You are staying in a house with your friends?
I think it's pretty reasonable la the price.

It goes by floor but it starts from 195 like that and increases by the levels.
Wah, so nice. I should ship someone I know with me.

the rental is definitely on the high side. And the utilities is not going to be cheap aswell. Compare with houses outside like my house for example. The rental is only 280 with fridge, aircon, water heater, washing machine sofa and all that. If divide by 2 person it's only 140 per month.

Anyway, it's still better to stay in ixora at the start.  smile.gif

Oh really, that's really cheap !
How do you travel around?

Hello! May I ask, is there like anyone or any friends of yours looking for housemate? I need to rent a room as the price at Ixora is seriously expensive.
Preferably all females. Thank you.

My bad shouldn't have influence you. It's still better to stay in ixora first when you are still not familiar with the surroundings la. Anyone if you insist, you can refer to the link in the first page of the thread. There's a Facebook page over there where people looking to rent or renting out a house will do the posting over there.
*
HAHA! No worries, it wasn't your fault! I just don't want to burden my mother that's all.
Hope something will work out right now.
Thanks anyway.

Just some informations on housing area for new students

These are the details I know. Wrong or incomplete, pls correct me

Taman Dahlia.
Nearest Taman to school. Just beside ixora. Most expensive Taman bcoz of that. Highest crime rate area since its quiet and slightly secluded.

Taman bukit Beruang Utama.
best Taman IMO. Cause Mmu corner (biggest hawker centre) is over there. Also can find a lot of Makan there. Quite a lot of nice houses and rental is just average. Not too expensive. Downside is its almost impossible to walk from here to campus.

Taman kerjasama.
More budget Taman, and it's nearer to campus also. But still you have to cross the road and take a few minutes walk from there to campus. Houses are smaller and older compare to other Taman, which means lower rental aswell.

Taman behind mmu tennis court ( dunno the Taman name)
This Taman also not bad. Very near to campus and its more crowded than dahlia.

Apartment
University Green. UG
Considered as high class living area for mmu student. Very nice surrounding and quite near to school aswell. But rental is seriously high.

BBP Apartment
Just beside ixora. This one can share between gender. Price is slightly lower than ixora.

BBU Apartment
If can, just avoid this. shakehead.gif

university green
As nice a surrounding as UG. But relatively further at behind Taman Kerjasama. Rental is very reasonable though.

Basically these are the Taman's students normally choose to stay. And to any of you searching for a room at the Facebook page mmu Melaka house rent, maybe you can take this as a reference.

Thank you for the heads up. smile.gif
