Another question here .
I read the supplementary statement.
One of it , stated

Supplementary as 2nd attempt.
(Grade of the subject: C-*, D+*, D*, FL* and F*.)

and the result would be

(*) will be removed.

So I'm curious here , I got a D* in one of my subject.
If I retake supplementary the * in my D is removed and does that consider as a pass ?
And could advance to next sem ?

Depends, you have to ask your AA about C-list subject. If that subject is in C-list then you have to retake to get at least C.
If you take supplementary you have chances to get C because D is really close to C. IINM D is 40+% while C is 50%

D is between mark 40 to <44. Definitely not pass.
With * means FAIL but eligible for SUPP.
Without * means FAIL and not eligible for SUPP.

Looks like something new, there's no Supp status before. Say eclipse, what about you go meet your AA and ask about it and update us about it.

Okay this is the explanation. If the GPA for the whole trimester is above 2.00, the academic status will appear pass regardless whether there is a subject that get F or D. Your friend's GPA is above 2.00. However, no * means he is not eligible for SUPP paper and has to retake that subject.

On the other hand, your status should appear as pass since your GPA is above 2.00 too, but since your are eligible for a SUPP paper, it appears as SUPP.

I see , so no matter how also I need to retake the D* subject and turn it into C ?
Or is it possible if I dont wanna take the supplementary exam and at the same time just keep this result instead ?

* means you are eligible for supp and your choice whether want to sit for supp or not.

If you refuse, you have to retake the whole subject next time.
If you accept and pass the supp, the highest grade that you can get is C (for taking supp as second attempt).
If you accept and fail, you have to retake the whole subject next time.

Damn i am good cool2.gif
