QUOTE(antzz @ Jan 3 2013, 11:13 PM) Patience. Patience. One thing about this hobby is that we have no datelines to catch. U can wait forever for the chance to come, and at the same time u can read and gain all related informations. I read a lot about freshwater species and gain happiness by solely knowing their existence, most of the time. To own them in my keeping, thats another different thing. So u dont have to be very upset if ur hunt ends up in vain, temporarily. Just keep on searching. In my case, i know what i should grab when i spotted a species, because i already knew their requirements beforehand. Good luck for both of u ahahha...actually since little kid i already like that pimas, juz that time my dad not allow my to have it and rare to get it from lfs at my hometown(if got, only monster size already)... Added on January 4, 2013, 3:44 amQUOTE(ayonymous @ Jan 3 2013, 08:39 PM) Added on January 3, 2013, 8:40 pmwhere do i can get the reedfish@ropefish@snakefish (Erpetoichthys calabaricus)?i'm from Johore..i'm interested to keep this species in my tank..damn!!awesome serpentine body.. got alot at psr pudu lfs,but not sure if johore area...but u can try buy on9 from here https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=272032...&type=2&theaterThis post has been edited by AiezentX: Jan 4 2013, 03:45 AM

QUOTE(PhisherSam @ Jan 16 2013, 09:29 PM) Which do you mean? The ones in the pictures are mine actually we call that at my kg was tuna, eel abit different from tuna...it look same but if u see sawah eel and tuna, they r different...tuna got side fin at side gill while eel dun have side fin at their gilll..(still in eel family but different spc i guess)....if wanna keep eel,i more prefer fire eel or tyre track eel, more beautiful... QUOTE(genielee_83 @ Jan 20 2013, 04:50 PM) just lost the last 2 ropes. so sad. Next time i'm not gonna comm them with others. Will just do a rope fish tank so the bioloads won't be too high. Overall total lost of 5 ropes in 2013. == they jump out from tank??they should realize, they just look like snake but they cant live outside water... my 1st rope fish also jump out from tank...saw it dried in the morning, almost make me heart attack coz tot it was snake at 1st

QUOTE(genielee_83 @ Jan 22 2013, 12:07 PM) Mastacembelus erythrotaenia?post picture I already have some of ur waiting list fish: moke and buettikoferi,Royal Knifefish ,ansorgii, weeksi and teugelsi Rope fish about a foot long. very sensitive to water parameter. mine dont jump tank but all kena poison by bio loads. My advice, keep ropes in another tank. Don't comm. Keep the bioloads very low, and ph very stable. Once they contract the "white feathery" disease, thy're goners. Mastacembelus erythrotaenia?? u mean fire eel??u want arr?? i got 1 fire eel,1 tyre track eel and 1 spiny eel to let go...wanna clear my tank for awhile...also got 2 pacu hand palm size...if any1 wanna buy...ehehhe going prepare tank for rope fish...
