Rope fish about a foot long. very sensitive to water parameter.
mine dont jump tank but all kena poison by bio loads.
My advice, keep ropes in another tank. Don't comm. Keep the bioloads very low, and ph very stable. Once they contract the "white feathery" disease, thy're goners.

What happened? Sorry to hear that. Still too early to conclude 2013 anyway. Look on the bright side and be positive la. We just plan things, the outcome depends on situation and luck. That is, if u dont believe in God. As in Jay situation, gar-feeding is a pain to his pocket, but he made a really cool story here, like, i never heard of a bichir eating gar before (not when the size is almost the same).

In the end, all of us fall into a students-of-life category. For me, beside that i love animal 'almost' by birth, i think i need something natural other than computer, tablet and smartphones. Also, i found that its rewarding that i can have a relaxing time just by staring at the grace of their movements. There's belief that certain sps of creature can understand ur mind, but i wont go that far, too much of a fairy tale already

Do your tank has cover? If no then add a cover, else, just add some fish like silver dollar or tin foil barb so that they will eat the mosquito larvae.

add a larger size of silver dollar, will be no problem. My tank got mix bichirs with silver dollar and tin foil barb, so far no problem.

That 3bar IT i got from xian leng s.alam.they got new arrival 2cm tigers.looking nice but they're not selling till they become more stable.so instead i bought this ~1.5inch IT for rm24.and mosquito larvae?mosquito?get archer fish can work?

Isnt siam tiger the more expensive one?they mix ITs in a tank.i picked this 3bar myself.a lfs worker told me once, for tigers, they came in a batch then some seller picks the 3bar/better looking ones and pass them off as siam tiger lol
