I know.. Also got plecos & other bottom suckers before, they eat a lot rather than doing cleaning job, if they doing any after all. If comming with slow-eating polyps, they'll finish most of the sinking pellets for themselves. Sometimes even faster than my turtle, which explains the speedy growth rate mad.gif

Since then i never kept plecos anymore, thou i like zebra plecos very much. Maybe will consider later if planning to operate another tank.
Yerp, bigger. U can see from the pics that his length already reach about 1.5 times of the 1x1' floor tile, so the size must be longer than 15".
U should consider sump filtration for future plan. Trust me, its a lot more fun (but with quite a noise effect).
*
Tats y! Tey finish off the sinking pellets before my polys could even sense it. Haha. Do loaches also thesame? Haha. Wow. Then th endli can lie along the length of the tank only? The width can ar? How does a sump work? A biiger filter box and a more powerful pump?

The width also can, so far la.. Cuz size of tank 5x2x2', Franky's length about 1.5'. Later i dunno la, maybe have to put in pond, if ever the pond large enough to house both endli and turtle :sweaty:
Plus the power of gravity and combination of size + design of output source. See below, 1st sketchup of my tank biggrin.gif

*Oh BTW, there's another wall behind that output opening wall, to serve as overflow barrier. Haha.. forgot to sketch that up tongue.gif
*
Eh, i thought 1 endli had been sold? Stil gt 2 endli?
Quite hard to und eh, bro. @@ whats overrflow??

What i meant is endli & turtle.

Overflow is to prevent water from flooding out, in case of pump failure or electricity down. Google up for it, there're several ways of overflow.
*
Oh ohh. Thn ornate hw big, bro? The simplest way of overflow? Haha

Woah so objective. I never count how many they eat. I know they eat them pellets while i wasnt looking. Cause when i check back, all got fat tummies already. Aand many pleco shit. Hahaha

Cuz massivore pellets is very big and thick. 1 pellet equals to two goldfish approximately. Lol

If i have a chance to keep aros, i'll try aggressive type.
Last time i googled a few rarer species. I do not like "show" aros.
Not enough oomph

Yep. I think silver/ african aro would be good. Search for 'arowana eats duckling' in youtube, u can see how beastly a silver aro can be.

Their price also very cheap now. But silvers are long type and they grow up very very very fast. Search again for 'largest arowana' in youtube, u can watch a gigantic silver swimming lazily on water surface.

Sorry cant provide links, cuz in mobile now.

Btw, aro or bichir produce more waste? Whose are bigger? Hahaha

If there be difference, wont be much significant anyway. If u wonder about aro and bichir poops, think again how i manage a big PNT in the same aquarium before biggrin.gif
Keep it steady bro. U know when to defend, gather the strength and finally strike nod.gif
*
I guess lots of vacuuming? Ur filter can suck off the aro an bichir's poops? I hate when the poops are being smashed into small2pieces and become dust like particles. Urgh.

So far my filter doing a god job. I never did manual vacuuming, except those PNT poops. Just have to clean wools in filter tank. Now that my PNT in another tank, saves a lot of work cuz vacuuming in turtle tank is a lot easier. Turtle tank is only 2' high.
Even the bichit's big poops can be sucked?? It wun stuck at the submersible pump water intake inlet? Mine, the holes are too small, so it just stuck at thr without beingsuck to the top filter. So troublesome.
