QUOTE(Ireferno @ Dec 17 2012, 11:07 AM) MX Blue is too noisy. But it has a really interesting feel to it lol. The 'tick' feeling everytime you hit a key. Would have gotten that but it lacks the 'feel' that MX Brown offers. Haha, the click sound is what I like about MX Blue. Also MX Brown lack the strong tactile feel that MX Blue has. To each his own |

QUOTE(mikelanding @ Dec 17 2012, 02:56 PM) Ah..ok Well I am not sure if boobs are "tactile", but MX Red is really nice to type on, lolAfter some googling, I found this: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cloud_of_boobs "The phrase "It feels like typing on a cloud of boobs" has been used to describe keyboards that have very light and/or smooth switches. Often, these switches are linear (not tactile). Examples of switches that have been described as giving rise to this feeling are: The lightest Topre switches (at 30 cN and 35 cN). Cherry MX Red switches (linear, 45 cN at activation)." |

QUOTE(kaysa @ Dec 18 2012, 08:58 PM) http://keycapsdirect.com/marketplace.php Seems legitfirst item: the grab/crap bag.... 1000+ keys for $usd25. any one interested? the shipping is $usd50 though, If we share it, we can like: each person take turn and pick 10 keys, until all 1000 keys are picked. |

I have a MX Red board, and I do have some typos happening during the first few days of usage. But I gave it one month plus to get used to the switch characteristics, and my typo reduced a lot.
MX Red is good for typing once you get used to the switch, the soft linear touch is simply wonderful |

Choose any switch you like.Is MX blue ok for gaming ? Tried few time kinda like the tactile feel , but Brown seems tactile feel are too soft... Read several review , MX Blue does nt really have double tapping issue though... What u guys say ? Btw , can u guys recommend me any place to buy key cap ? I just need several special key cap only , like window key, volume key etc or some special key cap like watermelon ... Haha... My personal favourite are MX Blue and MX Red. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Dec 25 2012, 06:29 PM) Aftermart keycaps, aftermart keycaps everywhere. or spend another 1k to get white realforce/HHKB and swap the keycaps BTW, let me guess, over 1k mech kb and black on black, is it Realforce/HHKB Pro? Try visit elitekeyboard/taobao(spandor/imsto) to see if have the desired replacement keycaps for her Topre board. Or if she want it on a budget (but seriously, RM1k on a keyboard, still constraint on budget?), simply get those keyboard sticker to get it done by the cheap way. |
