sometimes i wonder why need DRL when Audi A4 B8 launch in our land then i found the article says, DRL function is to tell rod user especially motorcyclist on their vehicle's wherebouts. thus will reduce accidient involving motorcyclist from the idea of DRL in Audi A4 B8, modern cars now offer to public with DRL e.g. Optima K5, Lexus cars, Porshe, Merc, BMW and others. Also now got aftermarket for others car with standed fitted DRL Preve? is not pure DRL, because DRL means it litted as long as engine is on. same goes to A4 B8 facelifted in 2012 sorry if i merepek here. bcause i look at kenji drl, it looks smart ya know

the audi has DRL when it was launched here because the market volume here is too small that it can't justify the cost of removing the DRL from the headlights against the cost of retaining the DRL in the headlights.
Preve is never considered as DRL. Please. It is only a follow me home light, meaning it will only turned on when the engine isn't started.
and in certain EU contries, it is illegal to turn on DRL during the night time.

Preve mia LED strip underneath the headlamp, Proton calls it "Positioning lights", whatever the fark that means. Follow-me-home lights AFAIK is just a function for the headlamp to stays on for a minute or so after your egressed the car to illuminate the area in front for you while you open your house doors, dance gangnam style etc.

Read this from the Inspira thread... QUOTE(cyberworx @ Oct 29 2012, 11:55 AM) Hi Inspira sifus. My front right fog lamp is broken, probably hit by stone on the highway. Found out from Proton Edar, it cost rm1200+ to replace one !!!!! :-( Also asked my mechanic to source from his supplier and he says it's around rm800+. He's also amazed, why it is so costly for a fog lamp!!!! Has anyone faced the same issue before? Appreciate to have some suggestions on what's the cheapest option to rectify the broken fog lamp issue for Inspira? Thanks. :-)
