Gabby does not have stronger chassis sleep.gif It handle better because it was designed for that length, engine position also contribute to center of gravity. Belive it or not, standard Gabby is lower than GaGa due to wheel size. Weight distribution was focus ON the shiftstick itself. When I pull a hard corner, I can feel the COG was right on my center console, infact 1 of my entertainment console clip always tercabut when I pull a stunt. Chassis flex in Gabby is still weak without external strut bar's assistance. Much more ass pain on GaGa after I own a Gabby, sorry for not sharing here. Don't wanna spoil the mood for happy GaGa ownership sleep.gif

The only thing I can say is, I still love my GaGa, because its 99x prettier than my Gabby wub.gif

Not even a month i bought the saga, after a trip down to melaka, paint start to Chip off. Well, maybe stones or bugs. Then an audi screwed me from left rear, lights broke, body dent. Nothing on the Audi though except some slight obvious scratch. Grass cutter came in the morning and left the saga with rear passenger window glass shattered. And the grass cutter wasn't even using blade cutter, just cable tie.
No sound proofing. No damping underneath bonnet. No cover underneath rear boot speaker. Handling rubbish. Cvt rubbish. Proton rubbish. Clarion rubbish. And the amount of DIY you guys do to improve the drive, rubbish.
*
The amount of DIY I do to my car was not rubbish, you and your car are. Don't you ever make your fucking problem mine, because you can't accept the fact that you're in bad luck.

YAB, just use normal water spray and wash can ar?

Go to workshop, use the compressed air gun to spray better. Do not use water, later it will become fat and koyak. According to supplier, mostly people only change in a year time. I guess I'm the only sor hai that changes almost every 2~3 months, especially if go long distance with whole family, I will send the car to vacuum 9 9, then change to new cabin filter just to make sure minimum dust being blown to my family.

QUOTE(mat79 @ Oct 18 2012, 07:46 PM)
ah, had another thing to share. Full Cvt vs sat. In crusing below 80kmh whether in hways or town, if u know how to control ur right foot@ being a light footer, it can help improve ur fc. For example, if ur speed is a round 70kmh+- on 5th gear, u can let go the throttle a bit so that it will shift 6th gear n u r cruising around 1.6 to 1.7k rpm+- (can remember exactly)around that speed.  while in full cvt, it constantly change the speed accordingly, even u r maintaining 2k rpm. Good things in full cvt, the rpm is maintain, but of course u have pros n cons, while the fuel is spray at contant rate in cvt, but its still spray the same rate even if u r driving at 40kmh for example at 2k rpm before reaching desired speed, while sat, the rpm will drop down, when the gear shifting coz it wont be constant at 2k rpm. If u know how to control ur right foot. If not, better stick to full cvt, easier.

For higher speed cruising, sat dont offer od gear, since its final gear ratio is higher than full cvt od ratio. Thats why full cvt is better when u cruise at speed let say 100kmh on highways.  u can check the diff in ratio inside ur manual book, between cvt od minimum ratio n sat 6th gear ratio. Bye.
*
hmm.gif I think this is very useful. The gear change RPM drop part totally make sense despite CVT doesn't have gear, with SAT it can actually fixed the ratio. So I guess on town driving to make the Punch VT2 kicked in 6th gear will have better FC than fully CVT icon_idea.gif Thanks mat79 for the useful information. I'm tempting to buy a CVT now laugh.gif

not sure wor..haha.... need to check only know...if not castrol brake fluid...

Added on October 18, 2012, 9:30 pmbtw our car is DOT 3, 4 or 5?
*
I've consulted magician last time regarding DOT5. According to magician, higher grade DOT brake fluid, their boiling point higher, and ofcourse higher pressure applied. So, in consideration if you're those type of driver who constantly boils your DOT4, changing to DOT 5 may not solve your problem, terbaliknya get worsen. From what I understand from magician, DOT3 normally is red color, and DOT4 is yellow color. Nonetheless, both these type of brake fluids are made from the same oil base, boiling point should differ between 30'C only. Say for example DOT3 boils at 100'C, then DOT4 boils at 130'C(I do not know the actual boiling point, but thats according to magician). But then hor, from DOT3 to DOT5, the range differs up to 60'C boiling point. And according to magician, DOT5 was using something alien(he also dunno what base is it). The only customer he experienced, brought 3 bottles of DOT5 for him to change in a Satey, next day came back with a ruptured brake hose doh.gif So, upgrading brake fluid may affect your brake servo, brake lines and flexi hose. Worst case, it may explode your drumbrake cylinder shakehead.gif

The above was NOT my personal knowledge nor experience. The highest DOT brake fluid I've experienced was DOT4 and have no problem with my cars so far.

Eqmal,

Don't bad mouth Iswaga sleep.gif its a good car. The weight on that car powered by the 4G13 made power to weight ratio 1t:100hp. FC was haibrid like. 0-100 below 10sec. My Pale Monster served her previous owner for 8 years, then served me another 8 years. Despite I punished her with many open track one make race/gymkhana, the only thing she got upset was bushing and tires, which was wear & tear items. Powah windoe does not always rosak, people always rosak their powah windoe bcoz they very smart go & use expansib silicone. Rubber got soften by silicone then jammed the cermin, as a result motor overheat ma dai faster lo. Korek way is use tayar shine dilute with water to lubricate the windoe rubber. The car was easy to menten. Car was sold to Unker Choy under valued, atleast in the hope of Unker Choy to take good care of her in the future. Meanwhile, I still menten another unit of LMST, somewhere around the parking area. Love ole gaga wub.gif

Added on October 19, 2012, 1:41 pmAnd this is for 2ndhenkar buyer:

I just had a conversation with my fren, he was asking to buy a dugong. Since he insist, I suggest for a 2nd hand dugong for 40k, but he said 2nd hand car always give problem, need to repair this repair that dowan! I said fine, u buy a new dugong, whatcha gonna do with the Gancil? He wanted to sell it 2nd hand. I offer RM3k, he said too low. Then start telling me how good his car is, regular service lar, no problem at all lar, aircon cold lar, this lar that lar bla bla bla. I shoot him back, u say 2nd hand car sure got problem 1 ma. U say need to repair this repair that ma.

Buying a 2nd hand car is a risk. You know, I know, everybody knows. Don't expect to buy it and drive like its fresh out from the factory. Some crusial thing u should change immediately before u start whacking the car, such as:

Cabin filter/Air filter(if its dirty)
Engine oil
Gear oil
Brake fluid
Tangki flush
Power steering fluid
Timing belt/acc belt

Check alignment, swap tires if need be. Change tire if expired. Unless previous owner supply with full maintenance record with receipts, otherwise those are time bombs.

I don't buy new car simply because its way too expansive and depreciate faster than I can earn. I know cars & half the time I'm fixing my cars, so buying 2nd hand car make sense to me. I'm not expecting you to follow, just sharing my point of view.

For your extra info:

Nowadays most taya shop tiada hati perot, owiz ask u to put camber screw to adjust camber, just 1 reason - PROFIT. Camber screw cost 50c, they sell it at RM35/side, adjust camber another RM15/side. You say leh?

Adjust toe is to adjust the turning radius. To make your car go straight, adjust toe is the right way, not the camber.

When need to adjust camber?
1) Bushing already worn out but refused to change, lower arm terkangkang.
2) Major accident/bent chassis
3) Change to different species knuckle for brake upgrades.

So, you really need a trustworthy taya man sleep.gif

Ahem... Your case could be different. I test drove your kar before, your kar could have a few busted bushes sleep.gif can be heard when driving straight(klok klok klok sound) Not suprise if camber is out.

However, if the taya guy berhati perot, they will advice u to change bush. Tibai rubber bush RM8/piece nia. See which 1 rosak change which 1. If silicone bush RM40/2 pairs, tahan lasak + race car steering feedback. Don't expect comfort on silicone bush, even pasir also vibrate your steering doh.gif

My trustworthy taya man is Teoh Brothers! Yesterday purposely drive 77km just to get them alignment/balancing+change sanitary brake pad for my bloody turtle @ 120. Why the trouble go so far? Because other tayar shop will say:

1) Camber lari. Screw 2x + labor RM100
2) Brake rotor bengkok, skin RM35/side
3) Brake rotor too thin, can't skin. Need to change Brembo disc RM400
4) Alenment lari, kasi ejes RM25
5) Balancing RM5 x 4 donuts
6) Brakepad RM75 + labor RM20

You do the calculation lar whistling.gif

P/s: last week sent BLM for FREE alignment. I ask why no need to pay, Ah Hee say no lari how to adjust. No adjust how to charge?! Sumore screw me back. You say they sohigh or too honest leh?

Many brands, besides NEXEN. Price is only reasonable, not thoroughly cheap. I'd like to highlight this to you. Finding a good tire shop, price was never my top priority. As long as its reasonable, I'm ok with it. Why not the cheapest? You may save 10~20/donut, but you wouldn't know the consequences. What if your new donut start to grind inner wall after 2 weeks? Do you trust they'll do a proper alignment job for you? Now you may think, why can't be smart enough to buy cheap tires, then ask my regular tire guy to check my alignment? How do you think they felt? So, normally I go outside survey price 9 9, then go back to my regular guy and slaughter them brows.gif
