u can easily claim warranty on "ori" set

u cannot claim warranty with ap set, u have the pay to get ur phone fix

if u dare to bet ap set won't have prob in the period of 1-2ys then they r no diff

ap set u get grade AA or AAA accesories something even the battery (for those which have removable battery)

ap set is not local...they have to send back to original country to warranty, this is where the problem if they need to warranty

if ur ap set is faulty want to claim warranty...u try to claim locally....they will charge you...unless u send back to the country where the phone originated from

The problem is that ORI SME Galaxy Nexus also out of stock in the market.

2 year warranty on ap set.. but ask him back what it cover.. actually all item that tend to broke warranty only for 3 month..

they still have to honor the "insert year" warranty right?

You may try search it in GS. I can't find a single seller of ORI Galaxy Nexus at price sub 1.3k

Though if you despo, you may try those Digi/Samsung retail shops, they may still had them(but at the price of 1.7-2k though).

If can afford always go for ori. Easier to make warranty claims and also have higher resale value. AP sets only problem is warranty as got alot of horror stories when wan to claim warranty.
