QUOTE(nate_nightroad @ Oct 14 2012, 03:50 PM) yea, is the "same" Take Samsung as example. You go foreign country import Samsung devices in, without through Samsung (MY), they sure butthurt lar.if "same" y differentiate them?y create ap and ori? if "same" y categorized ppl based on skin color and ethnicity? yea is the "same" Tak kan you want Samsung (MY) to take responsibility on those devices not owned/sold by them? |

QUOTE(ayamidiot @ Oct 14 2012, 03:58 PM) ap set is not local...they have to send back to original country to warranty, this is where the problem if they need to warranty I see. Meaning that if the phone under warranty, the repair will be free right? But I need wait for awhile. Correct?ori set can warranty in local if ur ap set is faulty want to claim warranty...u try to claim locally....they will charge you...unless u send back to the country where the phone originated from |

Ori set easier to claim warranty. Most of the service centre are located at Lowyat, which is in the center of KL. Ap set you need to bring it to the shop which is usually located at Subang, which is freaking far for most of us

QUOTE(ayamidiot @ Oct 14 2012, 04:22 PM) According to most of the normal terms and conditions for ORI, if they fail to compensate/repair the phone, they will replace with an existing models/phones with equivalent values(not sure whether which values though). This post has been edited by Human10: Oct 14 2012, 04:24 PM |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Oct 14 2012, 04:22 PM) You may try search it in GS. I can't find a single seller of ORI Galaxy Nexus at price sub 1.3k Not worth it if for that price. 1.3k still acceptable.Though if you despo, you may try those Digi/Samsung retail shops, they may still had them(but at the price of 1.7-2k though). |

If can afford always go for ori. Easier to make warranty claims and also have higher resale value. AP sets only problem is warranty as got alot of horror stories when wan to claim warranty.
