actually there is a big dilemma here for everybody which is considering about this 2 phone....no doubt, s3. note 2 and i5 already considered the best smartphone at the moment...

i have been an iphone user since 3G, 3GS, 4 and currently 4S (basically i used all the iphone launch in malaysia)..but this time i was in big dilemma as well...i love iphone but is kinda let down this time as is only taller the screen but of course a slight improvement in performance as well...

samsung note 2 seems to be a beast among the phones...in my opinion...

iphone = user friendly, easier to carry (for guys),os update and because is APPLE
note 2 = big screen for better gaming and viewing, basically everything, 2gb ram for better performance, but is kinda big as well to put in a pocket...

sigh.........i need help as well although i know the difference ........

Erm, what apple does is just let the competitor invent new items, learn from their weakness and improve. That's why Apple don't come out with new features. This happened to Video Call, Voice command, 4G LTE, larger screen and now NFC. They'll just wait till Google test out NFC before they dare to launch anything on their own.

On topic, iphone 5 is much easier to use and much simple whereas note 2 has much more to play with.

To those who complained about smoothness, I think you should try removing all the widgets on S3, note 2 and just put icons on the main screen. But then, who would wanna use a S3 and note 2 without widgets? I can be more productive by just reading out my e-mail on my homescreen, whereby iphone users need to click on the icon, wait for it to launch, it's much more efficient on android IMO.

Well, I'd say iPhone thread is quite attractive even to others due to above reason.

Samsung has a different approach, they attack every corner of consumers' home, providing a wide product range. From refrigerators, smartphones, tablets, tv, computers, music players, microwaves you name it...

While Apple on the other hand, follows a narrow approach. Providing only smartphones, tablets, music players and computers.

IMO, they have to release products sooner than previously to be able to compete with Samsung. No doubt their product's are getting "boring". IDK 

Yes Samsung and other Android devices are slow in terms of receiving updates because Google decides to phrase them by region. But it does not apply to the Nexus range. They are always the first to get the updates. Samsung has as Nexus, it's called the Galaxy Nexus.

Quality wise, it's different. The S3 may look fragile, I noticed the iPhones are not as durable as it claims to be. Every brand of phones has their flaws, no phone is perfect, even Vertu. Samsung's way of marketing is different from Apple, Samsung caters from mid-low to high end budget consumers, while Apple has only one products, which is to cater high end consumers (judging from the pricing). So we cannot put into the picture that Samsung produce cheap and low spec phones and does not have frequent updates to upgrade the OS. You have to take consideration with the product range. Apple has only 1 phone on the market, whenever it gets an update, all the phones will receive it. But mind you, not all the features are supported on all the phones.

They will just download. But I know. Hide your play store too. And your browser. But my kids not yet smart to download play store from browser.

From cydia. Yes require jailbreak... But use it on iPad not iPhone. Not sure it exist or not for iPhone. Like some say 5inch multi browser also feel small la not to mention our iPhone..

Don't blame the quality, you obviously just don't know how to take care of your phone. Look, it's pretty obvious judging by your picture. I bought a Note 1 in May 2012 and my device before tht was an iPhone 4, after moving to the Note 1 I realized, there is nothin better than an Android OS running on a Samsung, Apple just like to make lawsuits against Samsung making fake appeals to win sales in their home land. You know why? Because they themselves know tht Samsung was going to beat them straight in sales so they appealed for a lawsuit to ban sales of the Galaxy S3 there. All I'm saying is the quality is there, it's just the people who are tryin to hoax other people into thinking tht Samsung devices are worse than Apple's. iPhones keyboard was just to cramped up..typing was just basic crap on the iPhone, if ure talkin bout the iPad, the iPad is the best tablet in the world, tht I agree, I'm posting this using an iPad 2 and I've gotta say I've never regretted buying an iPad, as for wht I think, Apple makes the worst phone and the best tablet. That's wht I frankly think. As of now, I have sold my Note 1 and have moved on to the better Note 2, I was considering an iPhone 5, but realized I was gonna get bored of it as soon as I turned it on for the first time. iPhones are just to show others tht WoW! Look! I can slide to unlock, slide few other pages filled with apps and come back to my home screen and lock the device again. Note 2 has a much more fun, swipe anywhere I want feature tht comes with the sounds of rippling water...swipe through 7 home pages and go to an app drawer tht has many more pages and enjoy lockin the phone with more rippling water effect. For me, as of now, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is the best phone available in the market now. It's not a smartphone..it's more than tht..it's a geniusphone..and I'm proud to own one! All Hail Samsung!
