if your weapon damage is physical damage 100 and you got tal amulet that adds 5% holy damage meaning it will add extra 5 damage to your weapon.


anyway tried out ur meteor spec i think i know what you're saying already but i find it quite tiring need to alternate between 2 spells and i find it not really efficient since arcane power is full most of the time

i guess it depends on play style. These days, i need to find some varieties on CM wizzy build. Still by far the most efficient is CM+EB build. My question is, what if i diversify it with other skill. Probably need to tweak the game style a little bit. One thing i like about meteor, is that it is super effective against projectile enemies. They easily got son-ned. Tried it on ghom and assmodan, it worked fairly well.

I believe arcane power full should be good since it means you're able to spam meteor?

fellow wizzies, i got a question to ask. for an amulet, let say:

1. attack speed + crits damage (9 ias + 100 CD)

2. crits chance + crits damage (10 cc + 100 CD)

considering its not a trifecta ammy, which one would give the highest dps boost?

can crits chance boost the DPS significantly compared with IAS?

p/s: i'm hunting for a new amulet and since i cant afford a trifecta, need to consider other option. i tried wiz dps calculator and i get mixed result.

Generally CD increment add most dps, follow by CC, then IAS. However, IAS benefit most in any normal attack. CC and CD are, critical hit CHANCE. if it fails the chance, high CD also no point.

i know arcane power full but i had to stop casting the signature spell just to drop some meteors.

did you try meteors with eb? it works fairly well as well combined with storm armor + nova with deep freeze

its more sensible to have higher crit chance + CD. But it really depends on your build.

yes mang, i have played with monks who use implosion

even a barb can suck mobs in with stomp.

they suck - i freeze and bom bom bom = no escape for mobs
