blizzard is good in slowing enemies, but that's pretty much about it. Rarely use it to kill enemies. AOE wise, the most effective one will be EB with chain reaction rune.

on the other hand, if CM wizard is not your cup of tea, a pretty good AOE spell to look into is the electrocute with forked lightning rune skills. It's an AOE skill if you ask me.

EB - Chain reaction is lvl 5x spell but the electrochute-chain lightning works wonderfully along with frost nova+blizzard+energy twister. I am like a moving hurricane

Reactive Armor - Ranged and melee attackers are shocked for 70% weapon damage as Lightning.
Once they had the will to kill me, they got the shock.

oh yeah, for archon players, i think they will lean towards reactive armor.

since im more towards WW+EB playa....i prefer shocking aspect where everytime i crit, 35% to nearby enemies. Damage is kinda insignificant but at least its frequent.

Shocking aspect is like bezita super saiyan 2.

Shocking aspect will thunder nearby mob when you got have critical hits

reactive armor will thunder the attacker who hit you

both is nice
if got have higher crit chance

yup, its good, in fact both is also good. Really look like dragon ball character as well.

i use cold snap recently instead of deep freeze. Reduce cooldown is better since energy twister is nerfed. So a reduced cooldown is much more efficient for me. I will see whether should i adjust if i increase my attack speed later.

if attack speed and CC is not enough, use evocation + cold snap more = more cd reduction
