Use Battery+ to monitor the usage if using Android phone.
My guess is your Pebble just started to use. Charge a few times and it will be better.

Using iPhone man. Yeah just got it like 2 weeks ago. Maybe gotta let it go on longer

Main difference is battery life... Steel can last up to 10 days...
*
Ohh so just the battery life? The rest is the same? Got steel frame right?

do you need to pay gst?

I bought the first gen Pebble Watch last month at $99 and shipped to Malaysia; no added charges such as GST, shipping or others. Not sure if it applies to the new one though

time steel retail USD 299 x 4.2 = RM 1255

wow so expensive.. if the exchange rate was at 3.3, it would've been RM987 only..

I've been thinking of getting a regular Pebble, but I'm a bit hesitant because it seems a lot of people are complaining about the watch intermittently disconnecting.. Many of these complains are from last year, but I've found some recent ones as well.

So do any of you face this issue? Has it been fixed? I plan on using my watch with a Oneplus One, btw.

Also, I was wondering if anyone's tried the default music player with MixRadio... If so, are you able the see the track info?

Thanks. smile.gif

the first gen Pebble? i just bought the Pebble Watch last month. i don't know about the One Plus, but for my iPhone it connects almost instantly automatically and will stay connected as long as i don't off my Bluetooth. so far no issues with my unit; does what it's supposed to do.

as for the music player, it just shows the artist and song title (if it's too long, it'll be cut off and only a portion is shown). not sure about the MixRadio thing though.

Okay, thanks. ^^ You're using it with an Android phone, yeah?
Awesome, thanks. biggrin.gif Can the music app control the volume as well? Or is that something you need the Music Boss app for?
*
The default music app on the Pebble only allows 'Previous', 'Play/Pause' and 'Next'. Maybe there's a specific Watch app that allows more options? I haven't checked yet

Press middle button once. Then press top button to increase or bottom button to decrease volume.
*
oh got it. have to hold a few seconds right? here's the excerpt; "Adjust the volume of said tunes by holding in middle (select) button on the watch for a second or two. You'll feel a short vibration and the icons next to the top and bottom buttons will change from fast-forward or rewind to speakers. The top button will naturally up the volume level, with the bottom button turning it down."

Otherwise too small to make a watch with the e-display sweat.gif
What's more disturbing is the 2 days battery life only.
*
It's so distracting. I would prefer if they had a larger e-ink display but maybe there's some hardware limitation or something. Hah 2 days ah? I didn't see that part. I don't mind having a thicker body to fit a bigger battery rather than have a thin body with a small battery..

Yap. The 10 days battery life is what keeps me with pebble. It is still holding up to its claim as I'm still on my first charge after a few days of receiving it.
