I have couple of doubts & its as below :

1) Am driving the '06 Myvi with 14" rim. the OEM tyre size is 175/65/R14. about 3 years back i have changed to 185/65/R14. Currently i need to change the tyres again as its worn off.. Is the size 185/65/R14 is still ok or 185/60/R14 be better in terms of performance & fuel coz many tyre shop guys got shocked when isay 185/65/r14

2) what is the best brand & affordable.. What i need is good grip, less noise & gives good performance. Budget less than RM170/piece. Recommend any shops please as i am in Selayang.

3) On a separate note, perodua service told that my mounting is out & all 3 pieces need to be changed & they are asking for RM600 inclusive labour. Recommend a place that can do very good mounting & uses the original perodua mounting with a reasonable price of course.

Fuel difference from 175 to 185 is negligible. Performance wise I think you would feel more in control with the 175. Despite its narrower width, it doesnt have as much sidewall flex as the 185 on your original rims. 185 ones will ride more comfortable but u get the floaty feel when driving at high speed.

2) what is the best brand & affordable.. What i need is good grip, less noise & gives good performance. Budget less than RM170/piece. Recommend any shops please as i am in Selayang.

You can only good grip, less noise and good performance all together in high end tyres. But for below 200, you can go for continental cc5 or yokohama c drive. cc5 should be more expensive but it's very quiet right to end of its lifespan. c drive gets a bit noisy when the thread is thin. Both performance is quite good on dry and wet conditions based on my experience.

3) On a separate note, perodua service told that my mounting is out & all 3 pieces need to be changed & they are asking for RM600 inclusive labour. Recommend a place that can do very good mounting & uses the original perodua mounting with a reasonable price of course.

I don't know any workshops in selayang but you can get it cheaper if you go to 3rd party workshops and you should be able to save 20% at least.

Yes, 60 = lower profile = less sidewall = less sidewall flex compared to 65. Comfort level better at 65 but control is better at 60.

You stated that continental CC5 is quiet & good performance but i read in forums that their grip on wet is not good..

Well, i'm using both CC5 and yoko c drive and the only differences i notice are the noise and price. I think I feel that it's good because i'm using cc5 in 165/55/14. The same tyre with the same thread design will behave differently at different sizes because of surface contact area, flex etc.

Btw, i forgot that you are on 14". Only CC5 has 14", yoko c drive starts from 15".

Yoko A drive is available in 14" but they are really hard to find. Never tried them before but I heard they are of good value in terms of price and performance.

there are c drive 2 for 14"

also c drive is outdated, unless you're actually referring to c drive 2, which beats the cc5 in both grip on dry/wet and NVH. only down side is bad treadwear and technically more expensive tires overall.

a drive is everywhere, not hard to find at all. any shops carrying yokohama tires will 100% have a drive. they are the most basic yokohama tires and have pretty well rounded performance and overall good price vs performance value.
