I did face the problem you face when I switch from Shielding -> Dual. Yes it take times to adopt to the situation and gear change to suit. I will still use MoC to give party benefit, is okies to die 1-2 times as long as kill those elite and uber boss in short time. Definitely Loh/Ls is important for Dual if you wanna tank. Like you say I wearing blackthorne duncraid cross with 600+ LoH.

Yeah 1st game (mp7) I using 24% (less 10% damage from enemy) only but 2nd (mp8) and 3rd times (mp8) I using 48% (additional 24%). I spam like nobody business. I use 48% when only with barbarian (war cry).

MP10 is easy if you have 5%LS+2kLoH. just facetank.

Yes I would have to agree that elites are another story.

Now I do my benchmark with SB/Azmodan instead of Ghom.

max 1-h LS is 3%. so if 2= 6% max LS
amulet=9xx LoH max
ring=4xx-5xx LoH
set pants=4xx LoH
weapon 1-H=9xx LoH

VW with STR+DEX is cheaper than DEX+VIT

Hint: try Life% instead of VIT My VW with 180Str+180Dex+9%Life is only 1.5mil, compare to a VW with 70Vit (9% equivalent @ 30k hp) = at least 5mil.

the high price also partly because of the >200 dex roll (a normal VW rolls 170-200 main stat)
