Gonna buy this tripod from taobao. Anyone interested to join the bulk? Quite pricey though around RM90-RM100, after conversion + postage and all that.

Definitely looks solid and after fold can even keep in pocket. Will be ordering by Tuesday. Those interested just pm me.

Considering the RRP is USD30, it will be more or less around RM100. The price I got from taobao agent is RM90 exclusive of shipping, which will add up to a few ringgit per unit, Still fair price IMO.

But then taobao quality sometimes cannot be trusted.

Okay. Will most likely buy from amazon since got discount there.

But reading this puts me off slightly. Since its quite pricey actually.

Tragic Flaw

Doesn't grip tight. The clamping jaws are made of weak, easily breakable plastic. One test unit was destroyed after just two weeks of everyday use. The second test unit still works, but it won't last. The jaw really should be made of padded metal.

I try to ask for a quotation from Shirogawa before giving an answer. But in this case here probably it will be less than RM15 or RM20 from my area to yours.

If add up to the price of the holder itself its still less than RM100. Don't see them giving a discount of more than RM34 though.

I will update on this later.

EDIT: This is the rate i got from Shirogawa,

RM461 for five units. Which means each unit is RM92.2. Worth the price to me

Ya slightly worried. at this price, no warranty and -ve feedbacks.

Gorillapod is relatively more bulky than this one. And I'm afraid if I cling it onto something it just fall off like that. Non authentic gorilla pod are quite fragile according to my brother.

Im worried if it is not clamped tight enough the 808 will fall off. Since its heavy and the front and back is not as rounded as an iphone.

Or if it clamped too tight the screen might just break?

There are formers like shirogawa willing to buy as personal bulk with very minimal charges.

I think u can get cheaper with one seller here named miss1call or something like that, selling RM960.

btw, regarding one to one exchange, it depends whether the shop are willing to exchange the phone for you or not. some of them might give terms of within 3 or 7 days and expect the phone to be 100% new physically.

Im not sure if im being slowpoke or what. But i just realise the taskbar on top of the screen carries so much more functions than any other phones.

Double tap Top left - multitasking screen
Long press and release on top left - close all apps
Tap on phone signal - Interchange between 2G and 3G
Tap on top right - screen lock
Tap on battery - battery status

I accidentally pressed one of those, so thought i just try it out and those are the functions i found.

Let me show it on video later when i have time. Dun eat your own word.

Now i know why the function's there.

Could be, my phone was so slow until a lock screen took me around 5 seconds. Reformat and clear everything and my phone is back to normal again. Not sure it is related to belle or not.
