its not really that hard to press the answer button...not like its tiny and ur fingers cant hit it properly.
and im guessing you havent updated the firmware yet, cos with it u can press the home button and slide to unlock.

hello guyz i am facing a strange camera problem on nokia 808... sweat.gif
camera opens it display the scene  but no icon is shown...hitting shutter button wont click pictures....i had to reboot every time to make it work..but after few minute of letting camera idle it starts behaving in same manner...



I have tried uninstalling other softwares but to no help..yet to try hard resetting ....although camera works fine with QTcamera pro application..

well how are u starting the camera?
using the nokia camera app or the actual shutter button?

hard to say.
i had a phone, wifi worked, but sometimes connection drops etc.
at first i thought firmware issue, i brought it in and SC said motherboard problem.

already on latest firmware?
else reset la, no harm done since u dont have many apps to reinstall anyway.

i think the problem with 808 is nokia didnt use the lumia branding on it.
i see lots of ppl still think n8 is the best lumia camera phone...instead of saying 808 is the best camera phone whistling.gif

see the EOS, 920 all called lumia pureview...

but i really hope if got upgrade to 808 it should have at least dual core / more ram since kinda impossible to read pdf's with lots of images.
i am curious about the nokia elvis anyway...lazy to call it eos tongue.gif

if they had stuck with calling it nokia elvis, for sure i get it right away...but now named 1020 must think about it...cos who knows maybe 2 months later they release lumia 1025...zzz.
also slack thing is lumia 1020 got no SD card slot.
i may buy it tho, but i never use win8 before...dunno if its even got a good free gps.

EOS is rumored to pack the same 1/1.2" sensor like the 808.
the released EOS thickness spec of 9.77mm also is just the body only without camera hump.
that is 3mm thinner than 808 body, which is a combination of getting rid of the curve on the 808 front + back, and newer hardware that is smaller.

also the 808 camera hump adds on about 3mm extra thickness.
looking at the leaked pre-production EOS pics, the hump looks like it may also add about the same extra thickness.

so yea, just wait for july 11th tongue.gif

microsoft are actually paying nokia millions so they will use win8.
but in the long run, it is nokia who will actually lose out.

microsoft can easily go make a phone, anytime, anyday, with all the money they got.
but why do that, when they can partner with an established brand like nokia and leverage windows 8 instead of struggling to get a microsoft-branded phone recognition? tongue.gif
