sometimes I really have no idea if crafting will allow us to earn for the living..
Example :
Gem : 729 x Ruby market price now is 2k+- = 1,458,000
TOS : 1631 x market price now is 900+- = 1,467,900
Crafting Cost : 15.4m from FS to RS
Total Cost = 18,325,900
I see the AH is selling the RS at most 21m or 22m (Ruby), let says the ready RS
sold at 22m after tax 15% = 18,700,000 - the cost 18,325,900 = 374,100 profit.
sold at 21m after tax 15% = 17,850,000 - the cost 18,325,900 = -475,900 lose.

Self craft is the cheapest way for own use because we pay only 18.3m instead of buying at 22m from AH.
That is why buying crafting material now is expensive. Previously it wasn't so high. May be people are going on the gem crafting bandwagon.Example :
Gem : 729 x Ruby market price now is 2k+- = 1,458,000

I think Cow posted RS Emerald was selling at 26million. I went home after work and checked, it was indeed 26mill ++. I tested by just selling one at 27mill and it sold after 1 day(overnight la
I'm still keeping the rest for future self usage(monkey gem LOL )
