That is why buying crafting material now is expensive. Previously it wasn't so high. May be people are going on the gem crafting bandwagon.

I think Cow posted RS Emerald was selling at 26million. I went home after work and checked, it was indeed 26mill ++. I tested by just selling one at 27mill and it sold after 1 day(overnight la )

I'm still keeping the rest for future self usage(monkey gem LOL )

yup RS Emerald is selling at sky price too, but the price for FS Emerald is high as well, it's roaming between 6-8k per piece! let says averagely 7k x 729 = 5.1m itself for the FS, compare to Ruby 2k x 729 = 1.45m , it's about 3.6m additional cost for RS emerald...

man the gem in AH is like our real life Gold, buy low > sell high = profit

nowadays, hard to get 1 mil profit per gem. a couple weeks back, when gold stack increased to 50mil, i can made up 6 mil per gem.

yup. the trick is similar to stock market. buy low, sell high. if u track back to all my post in this thread, you will see that i reached 1 billion gold before, just by crafting gem. never buy any gold before.

Yes Mr.Cow, I read your great achievement and I'm trying my very best to be your successor, well the situation now doesn't allow anymore.

I wish the mobs drop me emerald gem every time if there is.

may be now is not the time, but like market fluctuation, the differences in RS and FS gem and the demands will create opportunity to make gold from time to time.

i'll try post here whenever such opportunity came about.

FS Emerald at around 6686 gold, ToS around 708, current price of RS is around 25,803,684. If can sell at around that price, at least can make 500k gold. It's happening now...

Er guys, I don't quite get the price of the gem. I did a search of 10 flawless square emeralds, price per unit shown was 6600 so 10 of those is 66000. I bought out 10 and I was refunded 48320, and I saw that I paid only 17670 for 10?

How come it's way cheaper than I intended to pay?

Price per unit is the maximum price that the FS Emerald can be, like this case it is 6.6k max you need to pay.

Have a look at the Last 10 Trade price : 3xxx or 4xxx or 5xxx it can be anything but most of the times it's lower than price per unit.

This means from the last 10 trade of emerald, the average price per unit say is 3500, meaning 3500 x 10 FS emerald = 35000.

Maximum Price 66k - 35k = the balance is what you get as refunded.

in the 10 trades, some will put the price at 100 per unit and some will put 8k per unit, so round up you have 3500 per unit averagely, do take note that this is how traders "goreng" the gems' price. So if you are lucky, you will get 100 emerald for 200k, whereby others paid 660k for 100 FS emerald. thats how they made the profit, but it takes time to wait for the big fish in the sea, you might earn and you might lose sometimes. good luck
