i've check the GAH there's no marquise gem's selling there so we have to craft ourself ?

there is risk over here. if u buy enough FS, you will know that there are people manipulate the Last 10 average price. it's easy. sell 10k FS with around "Per unit" price. Then, sell 10 more at really low gold. The 10 will be sold in no time. So you will see a really low Last 10 average price tag. When you buy 1000 FS at this point, most likely you will pay for the hefty price.

there is still possibility someone suddenly dump large amount of FS at low price, in that case, you get lucky and win big.

high risk, high gain.

i'd prefer the slow and steady type of investment. i'll only craft RS when the "Per Unit" price seem reasonable. in that case, i make small profit, but i surely make some profit. also, just me, i don't really like flipping gem or ToS. I just craft gem. 

price for fs going up ?

sometimes I really have no idea if crafting will allow us to earn for the living..

Example :
Gem : 729 x Ruby market price now is 2k+- = 1,458,000
TOS : 1631 x market price now is 900+- = 1,467,900
Crafting Cost : 15.4m from FS to RS
Total Cost = 18,325,900

I see the AH is selling the RS at most 21m or 22m (Ruby), let says the ready RS
sold at 22m after tax 15% = 18,700,000 - the cost 18,325,900 = 374,100 profit.
sold at 21m after tax 15% = 17,850,000 - the cost 18,325,900 = -475,900 lose.

         

Self craft is the cheapest way for own use because we pay only 18.3m instead of buying at 22m from AH.
