I think the multitasking feature has only Apps that supports multitask currently. For example, Facebook and Twitter default App is supported. Maybe other Apps will support it once the developer updates them. It will be even crazier when more Apps support multitasking. The multitasking is insanely fast!

Theoretically the screen on Note 2 has less PPI compared to Note 1 and S3, but practically for me, I'll say that Note 2 screen blows Note 1 and S3 screen right out of the water. Text are sharper on Note 2. It's much more easier to read text on Note 2!

When When? drool.gif

Off topic a bit. How does one get into Maxis One Club?
In Note 2, under Power Saving Option - there is an option to limit CPU speed. Have not activated the Power Saving features since the Note 2's battery life is already very impressive.  drool.gif
*
This is so true. Don't even need to on the Power Saving feature! thumbup.gif

u mobile is riding on maxis now, no longer with celcom

QUOTE(shockk @ Oct 12 2012, 02:21 PM)
AWEsome! Thanks for the clarification, bro. biggrin.gif

My wife's a UMobile user and I've noticed that her line is now suprisingly good compared to a few months back, especially on the 3G reception.
*
QUOTE(botakbin @ Oct 12 2012, 02:23 PM)
I can vouch for this. Reception at the same area has improved suddenly and very noticeably.
*
This must be the reason why my Umobile seems to be much better than before now. In Seremban my Umobile is even faster than my Streamyx at home. thumbup.gif

And Umobile is the cheapest of all. For RM28, you get 200SMS to all network (plus additional 100 for Umobile to Umobile) and 1GB of data. Call is 20sen/min to all network. I think this is the best plan for students especially. thumbup.gif

I sent the dealer a PM but it has been 3 days now , and no respond.

Somehow 4 years warranty just doesn't make any sense especially for an electronic device. 2 years is still acceptable but 4? doh.gif No offense tho.

QUOTE(kembar4 @ Oct 13 2012, 02:54 PM)
doh.gif My PM was about the warranty. What does the 4 year cover.

These are all marketing gimmicks. That I know. I am a dealer myself.

I can state 10 years warranty, but it could be warranty for the button perhaps. The other parts, LCD etc might just be 1 month, hence my PM asking him to state the parts that are covered by the warranty and their validity since we all know no one will be able to provide such warranty.

I know their profit margin and it is not possible to provide 4 years, let alone 2 years for parts like LCD , motherboard and so on. He could also give you 10 years of warranty, but if he says that 9 out of the 10 years will only cover software defects, then what?

Perhaps he didn't reply my PM because of that. So once again, if you are going to buy something, make sure to get down to specifics and ask the dealer to state their warranty coverage policy. Don't get sucked in by the number of years they advertise.
*
I'm very aware of that. Even for 1Year warranty, I ask the seller what is covered within 1Year. And I think most of us here knows that 4Years warranty is only for specific either hardware or software. icon_rolleyes.gif

Even SME Set does not cover everything for the whole year. IINM, 1Year SME warranty is only for the phone excluding accessories, charger and battery. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks bro! I have already subscribe and the best part is, the package will renew itself monthly. So no need to manually subscribe every month. rclxm9.gif

This makes Umobile even cheaper now. For RM36/monthly (RM28comittment +RM8 for the package), we'll get 80min calls and 200SMS to all operator (plus additional 100SMS for U to U) and 1GB of data! rclxm9.gif

Root will not improve performance. It allow you to install custom kernel or rom that will improve performance n some even saving more battery life
Root allow you to have apps that need access to system files such as titanium a full backup n restore app, adfree to eliminate pesky ads, kernel modify tools to boost performance, install custom rom, cwm to have backup n restore rom etc etc etc
Google benefits of rooting in android plenty sites detail explanation
You do not need root to install those crack or pirated apps . These stuff I do not encourage as is stealing intellectual property. Some such apps are Trojan carriers disrupting your phone system files
Rooting will not delete any data from phone
Rooting is 100% safe process.only a dumbass can spspoil phone by rooting
That is my quick 5 Sen guide
*
Uncle, if I root my phone, I won't get OTA updates anymore right? icon_question.gif

And if I root with CWM it will increase the binary counter? icon_question.gif

Edit: Typo.

Normally root will not affect ota updates. But not sure for this note2
Yes present tools to root n cwm will increase flash counter
Just use triangleaway to clear it while it is still in stock rom status

Added on October 13, 2012, 5:36 pm
No . Is only gsm

One of the video about rooting on XDA said that after root, we won't be able to get OTA updates anymore unless install back stock recovery.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1917564

Is it possible to just root without flashing CWM together? icon_question.gif

what does this icon mean? how come brightness in chrome is normal but very dim in internet?
*
That is Software Update Icon. Brightness? Is your brightness is set to auto? If it is, then maybe it's due to different lighting environment while you were using it (chrome and internet). If your lighting environment is bright, then the phone will make the screen brighter and so vice versa. icon_rolleyes.gif
