In Note 2, under Power Saving Option - there is an option to limit CPU speed. Have not activated the Power Saving features since the Note 2's battery life is already very impressive.

My wife's a UMobile user and I've noticed that her line is now suprisingly good compared to a few months back, especially on the 3G reception.

I can vouch for this. Reception at the same area has improved suddenly and very noticeably.

I sent the dealer a PM but it has been 3 days now , and no respond.

My PM was about the warranty. What does the 4 year cover.

These are all marketing gimmicks. That I know. I am a dealer myself.

I can state 10 years warranty, but it could be warranty for the button perhaps. The other parts, LCD etc might just be 1 month, hence my PM asking him to state the parts that are covered by the warranty and their validity since we all know no one will be able to provide such warranty.

I know their profit margin and it is not possible to provide 4 years, let alone 2 years for parts like LCD , motherboard and so on. He could also give you 10 years of warranty, but if he says that 9 out of the 10 years will only cover software defects, then what?

Perhaps he didn't reply my PM because of that. So once again, if you are going to buy something, make sure to get down to specifics and ask the dealer to state their warranty coverage policy. Don't get sucked in by the number of years they advertise.

Root will not improve performance. It allow you to install custom kernel or rom that will improve performance n some even saving more battery life
Root allow you to have apps that need access to system files such as titanium a full backup n restore app, adfree to eliminate pesky ads, kernel modify tools to boost performance, install custom rom, cwm to have backup n restore rom etc etc etc

You do not need root to install those crack or pirated apps . These stuff I do not encourage as is stealing intellectual property. Some such apps are Trojan carriers disrupting your phone system files
Rooting will not delete any data from phone
Rooting is 100% safe process.only a dumbass can spspoil phone by rooting

Me also dont like to apply physical screen protecter. its a nightmare when i try applied it myself. my new note2 dont had screen protecter applied on it scereen. im waiting for this product come to our shore. might getting it one. less hassle for installation.. 

Normally root will not affect ota updates. But not sure for this note2
Yes present tools to root n cwm will increase flash counter
Just use triangleaway to clear it while it is still in stock rom status
