anyone know if there's such shop in jb?

I'm looking to replace my savvy alternator and starter, although it is still working well.
But been using for 10 years..

If not, can I have this 'uncle' number?

This shop in Johor Jaya can repair alternator ?  My wife's car has some noise upon cold start up, I guess it's from alternator sad.gif

Hi

Cold start up noise ? after warm up does alternator still making the noise. Basically, they just do repair on alternator and starter, if you are certain that the noise is from alternator, then they are able to refurbish the alternator by changing new bearing and carbon brush.

This shop is in Taman Melodis btw. Not in johor jaya.

Actually there was 3 bearing for.the alternator. Mine was Denso alternator. 1 bearing was for the alternator pulley, another 2 bearings was inside the alternator. See that the bearing housing was already a bit exposed when the mechanic took out the pulley.
And there was rusted steel dust inside the bearing pulley. That explained the brown dust that I saw sticked on to d outer casing of.the alternator earlier.a few.days ago.

So, did the shop solved your problems? And whats the cost for repairing?
