how to check the manufacture date of the mac?

i just bought a MBP last week n this is the first time for me to use a mac. i have always been using windows before this. i just want to ask, what media player do u guys use to play movies? i tried gom player & vlc media player but the subtitle didn't show up.

Is it free? Can play many video formats? Also, can it view the subtitles?

Went to check at apple reseller store in Bangsar. They said I can't apply for the membership. I can only become a member after spending RM300.  Also. there is no birthday voucher of RM50 and no points for APP. Can advise bro?

Also wana check if I just wana apply the membership for tr sake of puchasing APP only, worth it?

does anyone faces some problem when viewing photo on preview? I have this kind of "previous photo flickering" photo when viewing the next photo, it is pretty annoying in my opinion.

I just checked.  It is on.  but why is it that it still fails to block some of the pop-ups?

I tot Mac is good in all these and hence, no antivirus is required to be installed?  if pop-ups are not able to be blocked what more virus/spy software? hmm

new user for mba.. just to ask, where can i find icon for facebook. as i know mountain lion come with built in Facebook...

if using parallel desktop 8 i think it will be smooth but cannot compare to native windows laptop... if bootcamp i think you can convert your laptop to windows but if like that why you buy mac laptop... not sure about vmware 5 i guess is like PD8 but cheaper...

not sure about alternative but 1 thing very sure mac book air not for gaming

if you not ready for mac, you can always look to windows laptop way more powerful and cheaper...

anyway for travel alot and performance and if you need mba, get mba 11, 8GB, core i7... else there is much more alternatives....

looking wireless mouse for my mba. magic mouse is good deal or just get normal wireless mouse. so far i heard that magic mouse not really good in term of using (no feel good hold it)
