People these days are arguing which have better subs rather than the availability of anime itself. But that's because the progress of people and technology of acquiring it. It's 'free' but sometimes I see them as ungrateful. Why would you hate a certain fansubber because people think their subs are too 'English'? I mean if you're understand what the hell their saying in Japanese language, you would not bother such tedious matters. Oh, well, free world I guess as you can say or argue whatever you want.

But collecting anime is a major headache like linkinstreet said before. Practically I used to delete things after watching. Unless for something that I found cute and moe.

p/s: Moe is a broad term and subjective. There are people here telling others that moefags destroyed anime industry while they themselves watching another kind of moe anime.

I watch everything that i can get from the first day i got internet until now...as long as there's a daily dose of weedanime i am satisfied...

You know a fansub group did a great job when the viewer can enjoy the show while having minimal to no exposure to the Japanese language/culture. This is why I enjoy watching Over-Time's subs for Kamen Rider Wizard.

But of course, everyone is free to choose whatever style they like, there are a lot of subbers out there these days, after all. So go enjoy watching TV-Nihon if you want to enjoy the most authentic nihongo jimaku, kisamatachi!



I used to do that as well, but that was way back, when external hard drives were expensive and bulky. I see no reason to just chuck them into a portable laptop drive these days. I have a feeling future-me would appreciate what I do someday.



I don't even watch animus anymore. I tried to watch IS' Bluray rip a while ago, alt F4'd while I was halfway into episode 1 （´・ω・｀）

Not about price for me. Rather I don't really watch them animu back after collecting. Only a few. But I know people who watch the same episodes for some unknown reason.

I myself usually pick up less than four shows per season; sometimes, only one. I still do watch animes but not that active anymore as I were a few years back. And yes, I have this habit of repeatedly watching anime series that I enjoy (Armored Trooper Votoms and Hidamari Sketch, in particular). My interest now seems to have shifted to picking up 90's cartoon shows like THE GODDAMN Batman The Animated Series and soon enough, Freakazoid.
