Nice C87 loot, and I see you got DAW's latest book. Did you manage to get the latest books of the more famous circles on the third day?

Also, not sure if you noticed, but inside Nakano Broadway is only the largest Mandarake complex in Japan. Just... wanna mention that is all, because you seemed to visit Nakano only for stuff related to camera.

The last image, the book on top left corner. DAW as in Digital Accel Works. You might also know him/her as Inazuma.

By popular circles, I mean the ones sorted on A listing in the Comiket catalog, located at East 1 2 3 halls. You know, the kinds of NMD, Basutei Shower, Essentia, Erect Touch? I know the lines for these are pretty incredible; the line for Basutei Shower's newest release extended all the way outside.

Still can't believe I managed to miss Zero-sen-sensei's latest work; although it's not the latest book I was looking for, but the omake that came with the book, which is sort of a compilation of rough ideas and a short paragraph on how "that certain Pokemon doujinshi" got C&D by Nintendo, and how s/he couldn't make the second one as good as the first one.

Oh, and on semi-related note, still can't believe the main artist of one of my favourite NSFW circles is female. Pretty sure of it, since she was sketching when I came upon the circle's booth, and recognized the art.

Most of the circles I listed were in the East 1-2-3 Hall, and on A row (wall booths). DAW was accidental find whistling.gif (since I did not marked it in my Comiket plan). Erect Touch was in my list, but the queue was abit long, so I skipped it first, only to found out later they sold out sad.gif I think I did passed by Zero-sen booth, but the subject matter wasn't in my interests (you could probably guessed from my list whistling.gif )

Protip: any latest releases you couldn't purchase during Comiket, can be obtained at Toranoana Akihabara on the following day, at greatly marked-up prices and including tax.

I usually love Zero-sen-sensei's works, but his latest one is, erm, meh. Even though I too personally like the "subject matter". Couldn't bring myself to purchase it, and others seem to agree with me too, what with the unsold copies nearing the end of the day.

Erect Touch, though. His works are always a delight to see. Even got his latest tankoubon before leaving Japan.

Just a question though: how was your experience passing Malaysian customs with those doujinshis in your luggage? For me it was pretty nerve-wracking, but luckily the officer was playing with her phone when it was my turn to place the luggage on the scanner, so... yeah. Couldn't imagine getting arrested for cartoon porn.

The protip is not true for every circles. For example you will not be able to find MTSP C87 book or Higumaya book (those sold out before the event ended) at Toranoana or Melonbooks since both only have stuff that were not sold out in Comiket. Some circle did not send their leftover stocks to there too (Z.A.P for example)

Not hard to hide since I think the x-ray cannot differentiate between books and padding, so I just put the books beneath my clothes, covered with plastic bag. Might kantoi if they asked you to open the bag and carefully check the bottom of the bag.

Three anime staff/related people already die 3 weeks into January 2015.

It seems I too have to curse at another year loudly...

CURSE YOU 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! vmad.gif
