Throttling is back it seems. Speed crawling dead at 10kBps but upload has no throttle.

Same. Then again, BolehVPN has good private tracker as well.

Tabuan area, throttled since 2 weeks ago. Before I went off for a 2 week holiday, speed was good. Came back, slow. And between this time frame, everything was not running.

Normal surfing and direct downloads still at top speed. Only torrents.

Testing out VPN, top speed I can get is 60-90 kilobytes per sec. Averages at 70 KBps most of the time.

US/Germany/HK/Netherlands/Switzerland/Canada.

All same result.

Tell me about it when all this while I've been going on full speed, and previously when the throttle was in place, I was still on full speed on the VPN.

And only now I can't. Same old pc, same old settings, same old VPN. Nothing has changed for the past 2 years.

Tried messing with the settings, no avail. Still same. Forced encryption both ways, increase decrease connections, half open ports, also no avail. Guess I'll just ride it out or find alternatives.

No idea bro. Well, seedbox now is the best way since you can direct download if off the server, hence bypassing the throttle.

Just realised a few minutes ago. Speed is back. Hope I'm not cursing it.

No quota. They just throttle p2p. Direct downloads are working fine.

Websites are crawling today. Even this forum took a while before it's loaded. What the hell. Speedtest barely loads and pings are so high even to Cyberjaya.

We all should just call up TM and file a complain. Isolated cases here and there being reported will not give them enough reason to justify what they are currently doing. I'll be filing my second report tonight when I get back home.

So far I never get those. I just keep filing report about slow speed and they accept it. 2-3 days later, technician come and do test and rectify as needed, which I'll get my speed back, but p2p I cannot complain.
