well, after long time test,it works partially only

not worth the time to do the trick and it only works temporary until u stop the traffic, it  will go back to normal throttled slow speed
better use vpn  or hope to get a good ip that is not throttled only  sad.gif

edit:

just do quick test, seems like working, but not guarantee works for you tongue.gif

If you provide information on your connection, it will be easier to assist.

Generally, fiber is better but at the same time, the monopoly makes em complacent, lackadaisical and .... shakehead.gif

Hi LYN, i am a streamyx 4mbps user. The problem i facing now is a bad latency/ping. I am using the modem that given by tm net. Normally my ping is around 50-60ms, when i started to play my online game for around 20-30 mintues, the ping suddenly jump rapidly to 1k-2k, sometimes even 3k. I ping google.com and it show a very bad ping for me to continue playing. Then, i go and turn off the wireless, it turns to 50ms constantly then abit 2-3 minutes, it goes back to 1k ping++. Can anyone of you tell me what is the problem?
*
It could be your modem/wireless is not design for online gaming.

Try using LAN cable when online gaming. If same result, you should get better device.

Forget to mention, i am using lan cable for gaming

Using notebook/PC? If possible, test at other site, friend's house, etc.

If connection is good at other site, then most probably it's your device, get a better device.

Would like to help you but I'm not a pro online gamer. Using only the standard devices from TM. Maybe reading some old post , or going to the gamer's thread , sorry.

how to check if my house is suitable for 4mb or 8mb?
*
Can apply/check online at TM's website, can call TM, or from TM agents which you can also find in this forum.

The last method have greater success rate. Good luck!

Why don't you consider fiber which is better?
