well, after long time test,it works partially only

not worth the time to do the trick and it only works temporary until u stop the traffic, it  will go back to normal throttled slow speed
better use vpn  or hope to get a good ip that is not throttled only

too bad that my living area dun covered for 8Mbps. if got i sure upgrade to 8Mbps

guy i need your opinion i got frequency disconnection streamyx 4mb for some time now.does changing my home from copper to fibre help? or i need to seek TM help again?? since i done it last time.

Hi LYN, i am a streamyx 4mbps user. The problem i facing now is a bad latency/ping. I am using the modem that given by tm net. Normally my ping is around 50-60ms, when i started to play my online game for around 20-30 mintues, the ping suddenly jump rapidly to 1k-2k, sometimes even 3k. I ping google.com and it show a very bad ping for me to continue playing. Then, i go and turn off the wireless, it turns to 50ms constantly then abit 2-3 minutes, it goes back to 1k ping++. Can anyone of you tell me what is the problem?

Forget to mention, i am using lan cable for gaming

I am playing with pc. You mean the modem having issues?

so what kind of modem can you recommend to solve my problems?

how to check if my house is suitable for 4mb or 8mb?
