Just applied the 4mpbs bbdeal due to no unifi coverage here

I believe what you say is the case, nowadays all city area and most of rural area covers 4mbps already, if not available for unifi

Using 4mbps here but can't do much with torrent, how come the download speed is high while torrenting only maintain 5-10kbps

Couldn't get to the ip that doesn't throttle.. It is kind of stupid to pay more for online service other than isp.
VPN seems not cheap as well

Didn't they come with a testing modem? Just tell them straight the modem shows line slow and showing snr margin low.. it might be their device broken as well

With 4mbps download speed but upload speed of merely 512kbps

just found out that when the upload speed is mostly occupied like when you're uploading big files to sites such as youtube, your download speed is also throttled accordingly.

Mine took just about 2 hour after the setup guy came my house to tweak and set up the device.
It all depends on how efficient they work, some say latest could delay up to 2 day

I'm doing fresh install, not sure about upgrading though.

But I believe the procedure is the same, it is might even be easier for upgrading

Agents do upgrading too, as I know some of the agent in LYN service forum provide great service on upgrading and installing.
It might be a good idea to consult them as they will help you to check over your area if 4mbps is supported.

I'm using 4mbps now, and during early stage of my consultation, the agent told me that my area only support 2mbps and 4mbps is experimental stage. Now using 4m smooth smooth no problem.
