I am currently using celcom for my monthly bill, and I think switching to maxis for iphone5 + combined plans would be good enough. I think maxis' internet coverage is good enough in Kuching.
But certain people still warn me of gettin the contract. But then I think I will be wasting my time waiting at the applestore website. |

I believe the whole 'out of stock' issues is just a Marketing ploy by Apple.
Being such a big corporation, they'd already push their productions way earlier than expected and I believe they know how many units are required. But the whole 'out of stock' creates anticipation and allows the whole 'iphone-mania' lasts longer. If everyone has it, nobody will be talking much about it anymore I suppose.. |

even LTE can be speedier than Unifi, but i think telco operators would not give us full speed in the start ... maybe bit by bit .. heck even Unifi is not at its full speed marketed.

Outside the U.S., the iPhone 5 will work with only three LTE frequencies: 850 megahertz, 1800 MHz and the 2100MHz, and it won’t support other frequencies commonly used in Europe.
While in Malaysia LTE spectrum is 2600MHz, so i think have to wait for maybe later until Apple out iphone 5 with 2600Mhz. Or else SKMM change the spectrum to 1800MHz. |

What i'm implying is that they have a whole year round to manufacture the Iphone and to stock up, yet around the world consumers are facing a serious shortage of iPhones. The iPhone isn't a piece of pie coming out from a bakery whereby the baker is unable to keep stock. I believe Apple would already have developed further generations of iPhones and they would not give themselves such a short time frame to manufacture the products. Although i'm not entirely dismissing the fact that they are indeed out of stock. To generate news that you have more demand than supply would be greater than news mentioning that there are still a lot of stock. And what's not to believe that Apple would do this? Subliminal marketing has been one of their competitive edge. I still think they would have known that this is coming, Also, IMO speculation on the profit and etc would be good for their shares. |
