I think my problem is overworked. I was very tired from hiking, but still had vigorous badminton match after that.
Playerseeker : how bad was your condition at that time? I think mine not really that serious, its just minor pain on my side. Would u elaborate more on your condition? maybe yours in worse shape at that time.
Added on October 3, 2012, 3:47 pmphysio like, u went to hospital to do it?
LOL... I did!!! but when I landed from jumping smash, my foot slipped, then the right knee which suppose to only move forward and bend, went side way, to outer side (I don't know you guys can imagine or not). Heard "crack crack" (2 cracking sounds) and the moment I knew, I was laying on the middle of the badminton court. People from both my court and the court beside stopped playing and rushed to me. Wasn't able to drive, had to call my dad to drive me back.
After that, I couldn't straighten my leg or bend it completely. It has limited degree angle of bending. Went to normal clinic, the doc said minor sprain but my knee area was swallon. After few days, I went to consult orthopedic surgeon and confirm it was meniscus tear, a minor one. Didn't go through MRI, he just lifted up my leg and started to move my knee and when he slightly pushed my knee outwards, i screamed pain. So yea, that was how he diagnosed my condition.
During physio that time, i can see that my ankle area was blue black, then my calf muscle very pain and my ligament suffered minor tear (According to my ortho surgeon).
The physio is something like this. I took it in one of the session.
It's some ultrasound treatment or something. Ice pack, cold pack, vibration sort of thingy.
I went to hospital and do it. RM50 per session. All claimed under company so no sweat...hahaah
