There is a different between knowing and not knowing... but in this case is knowing and yet pretending. Anyway note to self new year resolutions for 2013 no more users games that has Online Pass or Redeem Vita!

About the Q-Force somehow i prefer hardcopy compare to digital call me school... lol anyway it only has 1 share Plat between PS3 and Vita
*
You know what? I did had a conversation with the seller ur complaining about the the All-Stars. Ask him about the Vita download and he never replied so I did not bother to follow up.

Q-Force looks like a game I would play and discard later. Though because of the cross play I may want to keep it for myself but not necessarily disc format.

Dear trophy hunters,

Quick question. Is there any disadvantage using a R1 (US) account to hunt trophies? Half way hunting with a R1 account. Thinking of swithcing back to my old R3 account (MY) but lazy to replay all the games in my R1 acc. Currently 2 plat in my R1 and 0 plat in my R3. (previously i play for fun only..  sweat.gif ) Pls advice.. Thx.
*
LOL, hope you get some good responses. Just personal satisfaction to see ur one of few hardcore PS3 gamers from Malaysia. After all we converse among each other more than we converse with foreign players (generally at least).

Anyway, the 2 plats you have should be no problem to plat again. Walking Dead can be replayed and try different paths so you enjoy the story (I bet you let the chick reporter live right? Next time let her die). As for Borderlands 2, you can always use your existing uber characters to fast track your new ones. Though you still have to grind thru the quests and get those badass level 1 ranks.

i remember reading that some games' online multiplayer puts you on servers based on your region. think cod is one of them (correct me if i'm wrong). this means you'll be playing with americans and encountering more latency compared to playing w/ ppl in R3.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! laugh.gif

Haha bro, If you think you are not close enough to Brother Terryfu by a few trophies / hours, imagine how far mine and a few new starters are from you both laugh.gif

Anyway just sharing, not sure if my current trophy stats (0 plat, lmao) is enough to say this, but i believe the trophy hunting sometimes is about the journey, not the destination laugh.gif Really, last time when i first started PS3, its just playing the games i like and then keep them in the shelf. Plus my previous work that requires me traveling between states everyday, i didnt had the chance to really know much gamers. And unfortunately, sometimes having a hobby like playing PS3 seems to be considered like an undesirable activity in some place (dont flame me, but its just the way it is tongue.gif) But when i started trophy hunting this year, i bought some games from some fellow lowyat here (bro terry laugh.gif) and i realize that hey, these ppl are actually quite friendly. There are ppl who share the same hobby/interest as mine. Makes me starting to think gaming as a hobby not so bad afterall. And im seeing ppl sharing games, lending, helping to afk overnight turbo boost (lol..) among T.hunters here, which i find it quite interesting and funny. Thumbs up to the community here thumbup.gif

Anyway i started trophy hunting not to be the best trophy hunter. But i just find it amusing seeing the games we used to play are completed, properly recorded and rewarded with a trophy title. And as these trophy piles up, there is a small but strong sense of accomplishment on your collections that pushes you a little further to... go buy games and get more trophies! lol. Nevertheless, i am gonna try to plat the games which i really like and enjoy. And the best thing is when you finish platting it with a partner, it feels like to calling a beer celebration with the theme "We freaking did it. lol!" Thats why i enjoy the journey a little more that reaching global top hunter etc. But I also salute the top ranked trophy hunters for their effort, attention to details, and time planning to achieve such difficult task in the most effective manner. That was quite an eye opener. biggrin.gif

Well said bro.... Sometime i do feel out of touch as in going for the trophy's and not the games that i would really like to play. First thing i do is look at the trophy lists and the difficulty in obtaining the Plat before i consider getting it. Must realign myself right after i beat Terryfu Plat count lol rclxms.gif

LOL, I feel the heat from you wei. My Magnus Robot Fighter will probably lose out soon to your XO-Manowar tongue.gif

Should give yourself some other goals instead of taking over me. Myself I like to vary my plats such as:

Madden NFL 11 - Must learn what the heck is American Football about. Plat this game and still don't know better tongue.gif
Sorcery - First Move Plat. Want to feel how to wave a wand.
Dungeon Defenders - My first guide (co-op with yewjhin) and first dedicated gaming plat without guide.
Tekken series - Need to make sure have fighting game plat. (still want to go for 1 from Blazblue & another from any SF series)
Monopoly, uDraw & other family games - Always keep some coz like to have party games with friends. Might as well plat them at the same time.
AC Brotherhood - My 1st plat and Multiplayer levelling without boosting.
Resident Evil 5 - Like watching a movie since I just sit back while my partner rocket launches our way through the professional difficulty on my 1st playthru!

This year will also be targeting my first few Vita plats (can't decide between going for Uncharted or Miku Hatsune) as well as plat from other game genre (incl 1 Lego game at least).

Ah, those were the golden age of comics before the recession hit. Nowadays got so many convoluted storylines can't imagine which one to follow. Bought myself the AvX limited edition graphic novel recently though.

My Cabela 2013 finally arrive. Gonna take part in shooting some deers or bears for awhile tongue.gif

gone are the days of holographic/foil/chromium covers --- many in the industry actually view this period as the 'dark' days of comics because of these gimmicks. but it was fun collecting and checking wizard to track your 'assets' increasing value biggrin.gif then they introduced paperbacks and the market crashed! LOL

my plat journey so far:
1. mass effect 2
first plat, got it 18 months after the game as i was in the mood for another playthru and thought, "why not just go plat it?"

2. assassin's creed 2
my first ps3 game and the first game i sold! for some reason i didn't like it, i'm putting it down to being new to ps3 and unfamiliar with the dualshock controller. i was trying to figure out how to control ezio, while concentrating on the story, while also chasing after side quests that took me to the other side of the map; by the time i got back to the memory start point, i completely forgot what the previous memory was about.

i picked it up again cheap on psn (rm20) after watching showtimes' "the borgias" and wanting to explore florence again after spending my honeymoon there. this time it was a totally new experience! a bit wiser, i didn't go chasing after random side quests and concentrated on the story; some scenes from the siege of forli are identical to the showtime series. it is highly recommended for fans of ezio's saga up to assassin's creed brotherhood as it gives a different perspective and adds more depth and understanding for the period.

3. dark souls
another game i was in the mood to play again after finishing it. met some cool sun-bros on the journey. luckily platted it after the patches made it possible to buy green/titanite shards and easily farm eye of reprisals from harpies.

4. bf bad company 2
sold this game when bf3 came out. wasn't interested in trophies at the time and so didn't notice how close i was to platting it until i checked again last month --- was only a couple of bronzes away! rented and platted in a week.

5. mass effect 3
the stumbling block for me for this plat was the 'defender' trophy where you have to play online. i tried it out but just didn't like it. went to download the ipad app but at that time a few months ago it said it was not available for our region. tried again in december and this time it was available! rclxub.gif played the app for about 4 days and got the trophy, did some cleaning up and ding! rclxm9.gif

i'm currently working on:
grfs - my 2012 GOTY and will be my proudest plat when i get it
moh w - multiplayer trophies
moh -multiplayer trophies
acb - multiplayer trophies icon_question.gif
bf3 - multiplayer trophies

also looking to return to mw2, mw3, uc2, uc3, dead space, dead space 2, dragon age 2...my 2013 is already full gaming-wise biggrin.gif
