Yes you should ask for quotation first. Usually for Phantom 4 remote control not sending signal to due must be radio/app binding issues. Btw is it the apps disconnected or remote? Here info link how to solve it: https://forum.dji.com/thread-51313-1-1.html

Usually binding doesn't cost much and you can do it yourself unless some component is broken but highly unlikely.

Welcome to R/C flying club. For normal R/C plane you can fly any places you want as long you don't crash into things, some planes doesn't need that big space to fly eg: small Park flier planes. If you have budget below rm$350 and intend to fly for fun and not as long term hobby then this is ok drone for curious people to tryout for a few weeks before it break down.
My cousin bought one SG907 and my opinion its a toy grade, terrible video and struggle to get view to fly anywhere....too much vibration! Video or photo from this drone isn't worth showing on social media or worth keeping. Doesn't even qualify as hobby grade drone enthusiast. For beginner is ok to get one just to fly around the house or parking lot. But if you're looking for long term drone use with usable video recording and photography
look away and keep minimum budget rm$1200 for proper drone.

Hey, what you guys doing at home this week during Covvid-19 lockdown at home? Share your R/C flying activity.

DAY 2: Building some home DIY profile R/C planes and also assemble a Skysurfer glider for slopee soaring for beach flights.

DAY 9: Yay! R/C Glider plane build completed completed with 3d printed pilot, custom paints and electronics. Stay at home activity accomplished! Next!!....

DAY 11: Time to do extra layers of 'weathering' on my warbirds. Some acrylic paint, air brush kit, air compressor and paint pen to get the job done.

Time to repair my old FPV P-51D Mustang, pan servo camera resistor which already burnout after 8 years of flight. Its the part that helps to push normal servo to turn 180 degree pan. Another activity well spent at home during lockdown.

If you're talking about that mushroom shape antenna with dome shape labelled TX and RX on top then there are actual differences. Inside the dome of RX antenna there is a SKEW PLANAR 4x lobe antenna structure that use to catch/received 'angled' signal. While in TX inside the dome have a CLOVER LEAF 3x lobe antenna structure that use to transmit angular signal in various direction ideally for transmitter. This antenna ideal for models that fly and tilt various direction in very obstructing environment.
