Yes Mavic Pro is easy to control because its automatic assisted flight. With that price everything is automation.

For non-commercial purpose no need license, but is you take photo of someones daughter you need special license from her parent. Do we need any license to fly the drone when want to take photo? |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ May 17 2017, 04:48 PM) yeah, that's the way to go. I use many cheap stuff from china for my project, had many 100% success. The steel guy forgot that most of the stuff he use to race his quads are made from China factory contractor. Even Taranis that he recommends also made from China orignally cloned from open source Turnigy 9x motherboard. My advice is buy something affordable. Don't get influence buying something from famous racer..did you see that he promote his own Lipo battery. not like how this guy say: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « that's a great way to waste money. i don't care how skillful he is. it's like saying, "you wanna learn to drive? get american muscle. anything cheaper is not worth it" banggood + cheap china stuff FTW! at least for starters. I never spent anything more than RM250 for a FPV quadcopter, i usually bought it from someone who crash it or secondhand. lol This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: May 17 2017, 07:33 PM |

QUOTE(foohoa @ May 18 2017, 11:33 AM) u know that feels once u fix ppl rubbish/broken/faulty thing Yup thats right, especially when you try to show it infront of the original ex-owner. Almost 60% of my R/C models belongs to 'fail' owner...i fixed it and it flew famously. that feels sooooooooooo dayum good!! i do this usually, its process from rubbish to gold I always comes to R/C club air field sitting beside them with plastic bag and small cash just incase i struck gold especially when there's newbie pilot around. Tips: if you wanted to get a good deal on FPV quad/drone should it be racing quad or DJI, if there latest drone out on internet come and poison them with latest news stuff sure the will trade immediately theirs for new ones just like MAVIC publicity...works on FPV racer fanatics because they always fall for it. Look for those aged between 25~33 years old their mentally easy to influenced and have money for new ones. This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: May 19 2017, 12:43 PM |

The airframe i think made some aluminum by the looks of it to make it durable. Nice. This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: May 21 2017, 10:51 AM |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ May 21 2017, 03:52 PM) i not sure the name ....it is the inspire 1 design with transform arm... I use CleanFlight, usually if you want to flip around you have to use Horizon mode (beginner) or Acro mode (advance) which u need to adjust via CleanFlight or your fav Betaflight. Make sure your F.switch on your radio or any channel switch well assigned to activate several of this mode. If it does work check your EPA (End Point Adjustment) stick throw above 100%.** do you familar with betaflight? I got a race quad but it wont flip even in angle mode detail as below..can try help? https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.ph...&postcount=2388 |

QUOTE(bakry @ Jun 11 2017, 04:35 PM) I checked some unblocking videos on YouTube for kingkong q100. Does it come w a controller? All the vids, only has the drone part and no controller. Do I have to pay extra for the controller? Yes if you wanted to own a King Kong Q100 you'll need to supply your own controller because its a "Builder package" build for experience (Pro) user/pilot who prefer customized building and optional add-on. You can check out details here, i did blog about King Kong Q100 few months back: https://www.supermotoxl.com/designs-a-creat...pv-racing-droneThanks Hope the info helps. Oh! speaking about King Kong Q100 today i manage to add 3rd Q100 to my collection but i installed different flight controller and FPV camera unit. Custom build enhanced lighweight weight and have rear programmable brake lights. Enjoying lots of R/C activity today and that was 4th last task of R/C work before dinner.

QUOTE(bakry @ Jun 12 2017, 12:54 AM) Depends which path you wanted to go, you have three choices:1. If budget just wanted to play around and not much into hobby then: Radio Model: FLYSKY FS-i6X Budget: RM$250/-~300/- 2. If got cash, wanted to join the crowds, grow with hobby and being competitive in R/C community: Radio Model: FrSky TARANIS Budget: RM$1200/-~1500/- 3. If budget but have extra brains, good with engineering mods and pushing boundary of R/C with DIY's: Radio Model: TURNIGY 9XR Pro + FrSky module Budget: RM$350/-~450/- |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Jun 12 2017, 01:07 PM) Yo bro. Long time bo see LoL. Hey bro, sup I now going to build budget 600+ quad or hex any spec intro?(with basic solder this time LoL) How big the quad/hex? FPV or autonomous aerial mapping? If small under 450 size RM$600+ oke but with that price can buy a good out of box multirotor with perfect stability, GPS, longer battery runtime and other stuff... save time and money to build one. Technology changed fast and affordable. |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Jun 12 2017, 01:57 PM) I got some item now. but now flight time suck not sure motor overrun or lipo..but big posibility lipo suck. Woah! your combo unit is heavy especially that SK450 dead cat frame. I used to help my friend build a dead cat similar like your but with NTM brand motor almost same KV rating with 3s 5200 10C multistar lipo battery, it ran approximately between 10~13 minutes with total flying weight of 1.3kg. Yeah your battery going to be hot and bloated soon as calculated by zeroglyph. My previous similar build but on Dji classic flame wheel 450 type quad with total flying weight about 830g with 4x 850kv +30A esc give me 12minutes on 3s 2200mah 35/40C TURNIGY lipo battery. Here's my old build log: https://www.supermotoxl.com/fpvuav-models-b...ultirotor-450mm for comparison. Now I got multiple frame at hand using or brand. like: TBS Clone SK450 Deadcat (some parts missing due to random crash) SK450 Deadcat HK version, with voltage regulator module? (not sure the name, i get it less then 5 dollar event) Super H600 Motor using 4 Sunnysky X2212 980kv, 8 XXD 1000kv cheapo motor ESC using multistar 30A BLheli esc, and extra 4 cheapo 30a esc. lipo now using multistar 3s 5200 10c...yep 10C... Maybe budget build only can go quad...hex will significant increase cost. now so far only aim for 500+meter simple actioncam record This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Jun 13 2017, 07:50 PM |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Jun 13 2017, 08:27 PM) hmm, yes. that lipo sagg too much for that size. Why not build something out of the box, not conventional way but through DIY improvements for example using handmade DIY foamy quad frame for lightweight solution or use different type battery to fly your quad. Btw i manage to fly a small plane for 90 minutes using a small Li-on torchlight battery as shown previously and also flew for 35 minutes on toy hexacopter on the same battery to get extra fligthtime for kids to learn how to fly instead swapping battery every 10 minutes. (yeah that brushed motor get hot for flying too long). Right now working to add GPS solution and long range radio to make the toy hexa worthy. Btw my budget is RM300 for all this mods.i got 10~13 minute without gimbal and cam. because the lipo arrive way before the other stuff...and i weight it....lol happen but now will be focus on quad or hex 680. 4s or 6s. middle budget spec Photos X600: ![]() ![]() Also working on my FPV 250 power using Li-on too.
