QUOTE(hong3831 @ Oct 1 2012, 02:03 PM) I've been using the GY F1 D5 for more than a month now and so far pretty happy with it. Got pretty good grip and seems to be good value for the money. The PS3 is also a very good tyre but quite a lot more expensive. The most obvious advantage of the PS3 vs the GY D5 is that the PS3 is non-directional asymetrical, so it's still easy to rotate in any direction. The D5 is directional so can only rotate in one side. Another thing is the PS3 should be more silent. The D5 is slightly noisy in my opinion. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 2 2012, 01:34 AM) read already i think it's his car that have more influence on that feel? because he's saying things about cc5 too, and so far as cc5 user, i feel the grip on dry and heavy wet road is quite great i still feel safe driving 90kph on corner during heavy rain. u reckon i need to up the speed more? |

QUOTE(fix24311 @ Oct 2 2012, 01:42 AM) read already its a feedback.i think it's his car that have more influence on that feel? because he's saying things about cc5 too, and so far as cc5 user, i feel the grip on dry and heavy wet road is quite great i still feel safe driving 90kph on corner during heavy rain. u reckon i need to up the speed more? ps3 arent the be all end all tire. look up reviews or bench marks you hardly see ps3 dominating at all. and no, cc5 from MAJORITY feedback aren't great on grips. it is however silent/comfort, and the tread wear last better than most silent/comfort tires. i personally find c.drive 2 more comfortable and more silent than cc5, and not to mention i am driving the car at pretty high speed (177km/h anyone?) and even taking corners very aggressively time to time (recently baru je genting lolz) or even driving over 100km/h in heavy rains. that said, treadwear is the biggest drawback of c drive 2, however i am well aware of what i am getting in my tires and the money i am paying for is pretty satisfactory. so no issues on that personally, don't up any speed just to make a point risking your life. if you're ok with the tire, so be it. |

c drive 2 was in my list before due to it has the stock size i need. but after reading about grips, then only i start searching PS3 and D5.
what i concern is the safety at first place. My car was fishtailed before while driving 90km/h in highway. i made up decision must change good tyre from stock Silverstone. |
