read already smile.gif
i think it's his car that have more influence on that feel? because he's saying things about cc5 too, and so far as cc5 user, i feel the grip on dry and heavy wet road is quite great hmm.gif
i still feel safe driving 90kph on corner during heavy rain. u reckon i need to up the speed more? unsure.gif
*
its a feedback.
ps3 arent the be all end all tire. look up reviews or bench marks you hardly see ps3 dominating at all.

and no, cc5 from MAJORITY feedback aren't great on grips.
it is however silent/comfort, and the tread wear last better than most silent/comfort tires.

i personally find c.drive 2 more comfortable and more silent than cc5, and not to mention i am driving the car at pretty high speed (177km/h anyone?) and even taking corners very aggressively time to time (recently baru je genting lolz) or even driving over 100km/h in heavy rains.

that said, treadwear is the biggest drawback of c drive 2, however i am well aware of what i am getting in my tires and the money i am paying for is pretty satisfactory. so no issues on that smile.gif

personally, don't up any speed just to make a point risking your life. if you're ok with the tire, so be it.

c drive 2 was in my list before due to it has the stock size i need. but after reading about grips, then only i start searching PS3 and D5.
what i concern is the safety at first place. My car was fishtailed before while driving 90km/h in highway.
i made up decision must change good tyre from stock Silverstone.
*
i do a lot of hard driving myself despite that i shouldn't do that on a comfort tire.

regardless, my view on ps3 = overhype + overpriced
D5 = directional = shit noise

ur lucky can use that...my car max size is 175/50/15 only... cry.gif
i don't think c drive got that size. and someone told me the use of spacers isn't good for driveshaft, since the weight are transferred there instead, making the need to change driveshaft often than usual
*
im on spacers, and that would be the least of concerns. the red lines i do time to time would kill my driveshaft earlier than any spacer would smile.gif
