 The charge for mental illness diagnosis, anyone with experience?

I have ADD and social anxiety and i'm planning to see a psychiatrist at a government hospital. I'm 18 and i'm not telling my parents cos we got some issues so i'll be going alone. i'm not working not studying i have no insurance. any idea? hmm.gif

Lots of government hospital provide psychologists and psychiatrists. Do check out your nearest government hospital to see if they have a mental health department. I don't think insurance can help you pay for the fees if you go to private hospitals anyway.

Do not read up the Internet and then self diagnose yourself. It's good that you are going to see a professional for help.

Insurance do not cover preexisting conditions. Sadly psychiatrists are also not covered.
