Government hospitals do not take insurance.
http://www.hkl.gov.my/content/hospitalcharges.htm RM1/RM5/RM30 Look under "I. OUTPATIENT DEPARTMENT" near the bottom of the page. |

Lots of government hospital provide psychologists and psychiatrists. Do check out your nearest government hospital to see if they have a mental health department. I don't think insurance can help you pay for the fees if you go to private hospitals anyway.
Do not read up the Internet and then self diagnose yourself. It's good that you are going to see a professional for help. |

Insurance do not cover preexisting conditions. Sadly psychiatrists are also not covered.
For a list of exclusions not covered under the medical card, do feel free to pay my humble blog a visit. Good luck. |
