QUOTE(blazk @ Oct 26 2012, 10:33 AM) one question to all the master here. currently im using my phone as modem and tether to my pc. download speed is OK, but the ping is quite high, around 160-210ms. can someone confirm if the speed using a better modem will lower ping? maybe someone can test and compare for me, pretty pls? by my opinion, modem is more dedicated to the internet network, so it might work better than a phone, which has a mixture of a lot of stuff, phone currently can only work up till 7.2mbps, but on a modem, you can find modems that run up till 42mbps dual channel |

QUOTE(mmaarrkknngguu @ Nov 6 2012, 03:18 PM) sorry, i'm a noob here. just asking, whats the diff between the Huawei dashboard and the connect manager i.e. mwconn and mdma? dashboards give you less control on your modem configs then mdma, with mdma you can see network qosThis post has been edited by noobandroid: Nov 6 2012, 03:46 PM |
