from what ive seen i wouldn't say its a great kit, the connection for the funnel seems to be floopy even when its connected vertically to the back.

back skirt is quite loose

the transformation actually involves removing some armors (the front skirt is obvious but the backpack and leg as well) so if u dun want to transform it u hav to live with some loose parts (backpack is quite loose) or if u want it in transform mode then u'll hav some extra plastics lying around.....

to expose the psycho frame on the waist u pull it up just like unicorn, we know how great that turn out....

other then that its all good i guess. Then again this could just be his Nu others may be better build, we'll just hav to wait n build 1 ourself and see

Well, to be frank, I am not really a fan of Gundam, heh. But the frame looks promising enough to be utilize for next MS Bandai would have in line. The hands, that is somewhat nice TBH biggrin.gif

It look like it will still connect as the normal shield as it build on top of it, just i wonder how much it will limit the arm movement and if the weight will be an issue. Just hate that it will be limited as the Gatling gun and Sinanju Bazooka. doh.gif

Hi guys,
I've spent few hours yesterday to browse thru this thread from page 1 until last. Then I realised that MG and PG are FAR FAR FAR more good looking than HG. Eventhough the price is a concern and a huge difference but may I know will it be too fast for me to jump into MG? I've completed 3 HG models and now are itching to ugrade to MG. Please adv me as I'm new in this hobby.

Currently aiming for these 2 MG models as the price is below RM100.  rolleyes.gif

MG RX-77-2 Guncannon (Like the cockpit)
GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam (Like the shinng hand)

if you think jumping from HG to MG is bad, then my case is worst. I get 3 SD gundam and start playing with them. then i get a bit addicted and bought the whole sanguoden set and finished assemble every single 1 of them.
1 SD unit takes around 30 mins to assemble. then i started getting myself a Strike freedom MG, took me almost 5 hours to build, feels challenging. and now i have around 15-16 MG =.=, wallet bocor already.

MG kits are not THAT complex. Three HG kits are more than enough experience to move to MG kits.

In other news, I have bought what I need to start a new project next year. Who wants to guess what i'm planning to make if I need Gold Frame Amatsu, Astray Gold Frame, and Blitz Gundam? biggrin.gif

it's not a race guys. take time building your kits and also maybe put in a little effort on detailing it. gunpla are not meant for who can build it the fastest

I myself take at least 4-5 days for an MG/RG and sometimes even longer. depending on how much time I have on my hands. my record breaker would be my MG Unicorn Ver. Ka, took me a month to finish due to tight work schedule sweat.gif

i agree. but to do those detailing stuff, you need a lot of tools. in my process of getting the tools and start some painting job soon. a bit regret that I applied my strike freedom's decals on too early.
and i lost my hyper mode god gundam's sticker set sad.gif

Most MG aren't very complicated, its just a little more time consuming thats all. But if u r beginner avoid transformation kit (stuff like unicorn, zeta, delta plus, ex-s etc) those require more care in building them since its more moving parts thus more fragile, less stable and less balance. Once u build bout 3-4 MG get to know Bandai's plastic quality, durability and tolerance then u can go on to transformation kit if u want to.

Both MG are pretty old and pretty simple so i'll say go ahead choose either 1 since its relatively cheap if u made a mistake its not gonna cost u an arm or a leg, however if u wan something more modern i'll say go for strike (unless u wan to wait for the HD ver), Age-1, Astrays, Zaku 2.0, RX-78 2.0, GM 2.0, and MKII 2.0

Manly version of Amatsu without the spike high heels and MG blitz arm.....

Took me half a year to do Hi-Nu due to procrastination.....

I know that situation since my last big project took me about a month which mostly happen by procrastination and waiting for stuff come from the mail.

Reviewing back what i build in 2012, hoping to downsize for next year since my god i really need space if i keep building at this rate. rclxub.gif

its the end of the year! what have you built this year? i myself built 10 kits this year, close to finishing my 11th, along with 1 snap-fit and 1 more WIP. pretty decent year for gunpla, all in all!

most proud of this one in particular!
