My mom was diagnosed to suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia and is currently on medication of lyrica (150mg per day) and carbamazepine (200mg per day). Her pain is at the V1 branch (above eyes) of the trigeminal nerve. Medicine was effective initially but now the pain appears in another facial location though it is still within the V1 branch.
May I know if the symptoms/sickness is similar to your mom's ? And if the new prescribed anti-depressant (amitriptyline and luvox) is consumed in addition to lyrica and carbamazepine ? Any side effects and what is the dosage ?
