food for thought

yeah it merely a rumors but Ibra, Jovetic, Sanchez etc in but Vidal, Quag, Matri out? sweat.gif

anyway right now we're the sole survivor for Serie A flag bearer in UCL. But not so great news back in
domestic level is that right now Milan have nothing to lose and will focus 110% to chase us on the table

With Milan out of UCL, Juve left being the only Italian team in there, so all the best to the Bianconeri. May the xxx3 year tradition works.

today's is The Pitbull b-day? bday.gif
is he still a manager at Barnet? Hope he'll return to Juve soon to join Nedved & co. in the management

anyway guys who'd u prefer as our opponent in the QF round?

my hearts says;

1) Dortmund (1997 payback)
2) Bayern(unfinished business)
3) Real Madrid (always a classic...and a good record against em)
4) Barcelona (10 years reunion)
5) PSG (against some old familiar faces)
6) Malaga (2 least favorite UCL team but both came out on top of the group)
7) Galatasaray (Melo reunion against us)

but my brain says;

1) Galatasaray (probably the 'weakest' on the paper out of all 7. But 'weakest' doesn't mean they're weak team)
2) PSG (sure they've super-talented team but i think we're familiar with their style of play. And Ibra vs Chiello prospect too)
3) Malaga (would be a mistake underestimating em but most would be happy to be paired against em instead of Real/Barca)
4) Dortmund (payback is one thing..but still I would like to meet em 1st b4 the "big three" of UCL)
5) Real Madrid (the clash of best attack vs best defense. And i know some of madrid fans still want a payback against us)
6) Bayern (the 4-1 still hurts...but this season clearly not the right time to take revenge on em)
7) Barca (they've shown why they're the best team in the world currently. And meeting them right now is like a 'high risk high reward' circumstances)

I don't mind Matri and Quag out of Juve, they are not consistent enough for Juventus. As much as I love Matri, Juve cannot afford to keep someone who is not consistent anymore.

Ibra record speak for himself, he knows how to score. Sure his attitude is questionable, but he gets the job done.

I would welcome Ibra back.

he's a talented player n a difference maker no doubt bout dat..but there's no telling for how long he'll "love" and play for the club..and then create all sorts of trouble intl the team.

juve dressing room have a harmony and there's no problem between the players the last time I check. not sure juve should risk dat for the sake of ibra alone

He's young and hunger for trophies. You would do the same if you were in his shoes, right ?

BAyern's defeat at home proved that they are not as all mighty as the media and fans suggest. If we r to win the CL, we must face any opponent. So I say, just brng it whoever the team is. nod.gif

there's no point discussing Ibra's loyalty bcoz we all knew he has little to none.

the reason i'm not so fond having him back here bcoz of his "i'm bigger than the club n everyone" mentality

Yah, he changes clubs like changing clothes. He should go Bayern Munich next. Only the German league is missing from his trophy cabinet

Understandable that he left us. Most players will do the same anyway. Loyalty? Even normal employees change companies every year as long as the jump involve better pay.

I don't think we need Ibra now as we already got Llorente. Quag and Matri can act as backup, heck those 3 can even be played in a rotation basis.

Not all players will jump ship for money. Fortunately we had loyal players like Nedved, Buffon and Trezeguet who stayed and help us fight back into Serie A

Yes, thats why they became legends. But what I'm saying as you can't blame those that jumped ship. After all their career is only so short, after age 35++, they can't really earn and most of them were at their peak that time. Sports is just not a sustainable career espec when it comes to old age.

Italian league is not like BPL or la liga where the players are paid a mansion. The earning power for players in the italian league relatively avg/low compared to other leagues.

and How can you not mentioned ADP in your list who who stayed back???? shakehead.gif vmad.gif laugh.gif *jz teasing u.
