It is clear for all to see that we have run out of steam.. And to be honest, our lack of a top striker is starting to show. We missed a host of chances again to finish off Inter and as the game wore on, Inter grew stronger and we faded away
Bendtner was awful. Yes he has some great touches but he lacks the pace, the mobility and intensity to play for us. More pain will come if this lack of a top striker is not address. Credit to stramaccioni as i can foresee he can be another great manager in the making to rival conte. Stramaccioni absolutely murdered angelo alessio whom i feel is actually is a weaker manager/motivator than carrera. This defeat reminds of arsenal's loss to man utd. An eerirly it ended at 49 too. It would have been alot different had conte was in charge of the match day. A poor loss. Alessio unable to rally his troops. I dont think we can do any better with alessio for cl in mid week. Conte's return will be eagerly awaited by all of us now... |

Yeah.. provided our strikers start scoring. We cannot keep on depending on a DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER like Vidal to do most of our goal scoring. A world class player he is, midfielders goals should add as a supplement to strikers goals. They should not be our main source of goals. If not we will soon be found out by more and more teams instead of just Inter.

QUOTE(uzary @ Nov 6 2012, 01:13 AM) guys, i know we will have a very very big match tomorrow nite as we must win against nord.. even a draw will be bad or worst we lose.. i hope conte will deployed all of our finest player n no bedner. The first 15 to 20 mins against Inter we could have put the game to bed. But instead of our strikers getting into great goal scoring positions, it was our midfielders. And eventhough Vidal and Marchisio are great going forward, they are no strikers in terms of finishing. Thats why football has different position like strikers and midfielders. Vidal and Marchsio choose the wrong options and i not for once blame them becuase they are afterall midfielders. put that aside, lets hav a bit of discussion bout our ''scoreless'' strikers... i hv been wondering bout this since after amauri era. then we has boriello also almost be the nex amauri but thankfully he did scored a few crucial goals for us toward the end of las season. but this season, all our strikers becomin more like amauri in term of unable to scored eventho we they hav a lot of good chances in front of goals. to date our stikers Fabio Quagliarella - 3 goals Sebastian Giovinco - 3 goals Mirko Vucinic - 2 goals Alessandro Matri - 1 goals Nicklas Bendtner - no goal yet this is worrisome guys.. even for a out form ac milan, their striker el sharrawy is leading the serie a top scorer. i compared to all leagues in europe, other than la liga where messi, ronaldo n falcao hav 10 goals or more, other strikers have an average of 6-8 goals by now. but for our strikers, i just dont know what to say anymore. im not saying they r not good, they can create, dribble, pass xcept unable to finish it. is it an amauri curse or something? or are our strikers very lack of world class level? we r the old lady, we r back being a giant again in europe, we r by far the best domestic club in italy, but we hav this weird problem. it is a good thing that all our goals came from any position of players bout strikers shud score a lot more. also iinm all our goals mostly came from set pieces compared to a more direct approach. im sure our top management has aware of this, they shud have. so this coming january transfer i hope they wil bring in a very good striker to solve this issue. i frustrated we unable to get RVP wit us, i really wish he, or cavanni or falcao could join us but i dun c that will happen. shud we get Giuseppe Rossi this january? coz other than him, i dunno anymore top strikers available n can play ucl for us. he shud already healed by then but ofcoz his injury prone and his performance after his injuries is still in doubt whether he is a right choice for us or not.. so guys, what do u have tosay regarding this matter? i am really worry in the situation is continuous like this. we cant win if we dont score, n we also cant win if we dont score more than our opponent. That is when our toothless strikers come in. Inter not just played well, they had a top striker to trouble us. Milito was a huge difference between us and Inter that night. He probed, he moved into channels, he drew fouls, he confused our backline. Bendtner on the other hand has a nice touch. And thats about it. Full stop. Giovinco can get past players, but when he did, he passed the ball back to the opponents. A striker with more quality must surely come in now. Or we will stare at the possibility of a one season wonder. We might end up finishing 2nd or 3rd and out of UCL at grp stage. Get someone. Llorente or Dzeko or whatever la. They are not WC, but hell they are way better than the pathetic bunch we have now. The oonly 2 strikers that can stay is Quag and Vucinic. Vucinic will support the new guy, Quag and giovinco as subs. Then we can start talking about retaining the title and fighting for UCL. |

After yesterday's showing, it will be a huge loss for Europe if Juve never make it to the next round la
Revolution? Juventus has always been a super power in european football. It took a huge calciopoli scandal to bring us down... but rise an old lady.. RISE NOW!!!! Star players some asked? GK: Buffon (Need I say more?) (FIFA WORLD PLAYER TOP 26 NOMINATION) MC: Andrea Pirlo (Need I say more?) (FIFA WORLD PLAYER TOP 26 NOMINATION) UP COMING GLOBAL SUPERSTAR: ARTURO VIDAL!!! A defensive midfielder by nature, blessed with not just one, but two footness, great pace for a defensive midfielder, Gerrard like lungs, Roy Keane / Gattuso like Determination, Frank Lampard goals from midfield (top scorer for juve so far), occasional Robinho step overs, Yaya Toure like ability to play as an attacking player or a defensive player or even a center back. CURRENTLY WANTED BY BARCELONA, REAL MADRID, MAN UTD, MAN CITY. (FIFA WORLD PLAYER TOP 26 NOMINATION) UP COMING ITALIAN TOP PLAYER: CLAUDIO MARCHISIO!! A lesser version of Vidal but almost equally good. CURRENT JUVENTUS VICE CAPTAIN AND FUTURE ITALY CAPTAIN (FIFA WORLD PLAYER TOP 26 NOMINATION) TOGETHER THE 3 MID FORMED ONE OF EUROPE'S BEST CENTRAL MIDFIELDS. WAY TO GO MVP!! Barcelona center: Busquest, Xavi, Iniesta Juventus center: Vidal, Pirlo, Machisio Real Madrid center: Modric, Alonso, Ozil FC Bayern center: Schweisteiger, Gustavo, Kroos But cause the midfield is so strong, a lack of a top scorer proved not too much of a concern yesterday This post has been edited by theprobe: Nov 21 2012, 08:00 PM |

Typical british. no wonder they cant win no WC haha.
Any trolls here? I cant understand the hate from Celtic towards us. Come on la cb, Juve aint got no rivalry against you limeys.. If all this shit came from Inter, Roma or Fiorentina normal la. When I refer to those british goons, it does not limit to Celtic. It covers all those goons from the EPL. To those bastards: When their team played like thugs = played with passion/determination/never say die attitude, something to admire When an opponent fought them like for like = played ruby, referees pro When their team parked the bus and played on the counter = a defensive masterclass. we can also defend what. no need the italians to teach us When an opponent parked the bus and played on the counter = a shame to football. enermy to football. a disgrace. lucky goals Really feels like using a parang and fight those bristish hooligans. 1 against all. bring it .. the thugs from man utd, chelsea, tottenham, arsenal, celtic, rangers, stoke, liverpool.. all of them. you name it! |

QUOTE(cardtrick89 @ Feb 13 2013, 03:45 PM) LOL!For the return-leg: If I am one of the Juven fan base leader, I would ask everyone to sing louder and more passionate than those goons at parkhead. If i am Conte I will tell the lads to dominate the possession. 70% to 30%. Once we scored a goal, keep them coming. Show no mercy. 1 goes in, keep on attacking, 2 goes in, lets keep going. keep attacking n scoring until the referee blows full time. We shall show those goons that we can play the deep and counter game as well as the barca like possession football. (Come on we were the second best team in terms of possession football last year in the whole of Europe) dont those goons dare challenge us to play possession technical football! In Turin, let them have it! We got a taste of the Scots thuggery, now it is time to unleash the Italian grinta! This post has been edited by theprobe: Feb 13 2013, 04:01 PM |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 2 2013, 05:47 AM) i'm gonna say that was a "good/not so bad" result...but no Seeing Vucinic i vomit blood. Who says we just need a top striker. We need a top Second Striker too. Vucinic blows hot and cold too often not reliable at all. Its like playing with luck. see today he mood good he play well tml next gain mood bad play poor. We could have gone 9 pts up and that is very impt considering we are gunning for CL too. its a poor one. Considering we could've killed the match during the 1st 20minutes. And leading by 9 pts instead of 6 Next season: a top SS to partner Llorente. Vucinic -> bench his ass |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 6 2013, 10:23 AM) preferable lineup tonight guys? cannot la bro. To field primavera players is suicidal and to think that we are already thru is madness as well.... Come on, those british and scottish bastards may not have won WCs or Euros, but their clubs are always full of passion and above all DETERMINATION. I expect a tough encounter tonight and it will not be a walk in the park for us. They have nothing to lose, they will give it a real go. on one hand i hope Conte would just start with 2nd squad...maybe to the extent of primavera players seeing that we nearly have one foot in QF. And conserved some energy for league match in the weekend. on the other hand after the end of the last UCL match antics i'm hoping for a no less than the double-digit scoreline aggregate...or close so what will it be? *and one important note is that Lich,March,Vidal are one yellow card away from suspension. So i don't know if Conte would start either one of em. But i think its Vidal considering he gonna miss Catania match on the weekend due to a suspension And I can imagine what Lennon that ugly mug will say to his goons "Come on lads!! If we are to go down, at least give them hell before we do! Fight them like poets, soldiers and earn back our dignity!" They will bomb us with corners again and they will expect the referee this time to take action to our way of handling their players and the referee will most likely do as there was so much media spotlight on this. Heck those goons might sneak a goal via a corner. So i feel we should start a rather strong team, stay focus, play to our best and battered them till they can fight no more. That should be the way to go |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 6 2013, 02:21 PM) and lets not forget they(celtic) have nothing to lose while we have everything to lose tonight. Just hope And most of those UK bastards write us off.. after the Man Utd's loss, fans and pundits alike keep saying those only German teams like FC Bayern n Dortmund has the ability to beat Real now.. and none of them mentioned about us. Well, we shall see. To be honest, I dont mind us getting Dortmund or Fc Bayern in the next round. I am quietly optimistic about our chances this yr. i got the exact same feeling at euro 2012 , and we did go all the way to the final but was unfortunate to meet the great national team ever. So we shall see they would be 'gentleman' enough to come here to play football instead of "seeking blood" and u right on the bolded part too. Lets show em what we're capable of if we decided to play our real brand of football. italian team often being stereotype as "defensive" and "boring" by the some morons who NEVER watch us play week in week out And if we can win it, it will silence those goons from UK. All of them bastards and their fans over there and in Asia |

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Mar 6 2013, 05:26 PM) I may not be Juve fans but then I do support the Bianconeri for the sake for being Italian team, I am optimistic about the outcome for Juve for tonight's UCL 2nd leg against Celtic. I still cannot brain how did we sell Pirlo off to Juve. No matter you are a Milan or Inter or any Italian club supporter, when it comes to facing clubs that are non-italian, I will always consider you all as brothers in arms. As Milan supporter, I do say at least the Serie A chase is over... Juve is getting yet another Scudetto. I root for Milan when facing Barca, the only time I will not root for Milan will be against us la sorry haha |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 6 2013, 08:05 PM) yups...hate the fact that most media(esp british) love to underrated us when it comes to football. Agreed... by the way whats with the Suarez avatar pic both the result of Celtic 0-3 Juventus and AC Milan 2-0 Barcelona were downright brilliance. Celtic never lost at home since 2004 and i don't remember Barca losing by 2 goals since their resurgence in UCL since 2005/06. |
