What a failure. It will be another long long time before juve or an italian team can win a European trophy. We cant even handle benfica. As good as benfica is we should at least score a goal ffs!

It's not as if we blew them apart but miss a host of open goals. Our play was ok in the first half but horrible in the second. Super slow tempo... Cant even control f***ing ball, poor first touches, lack of creativity and cant even pass properly.

Our 3-5-2 formation is a monster in serie a but absolute useless in Europe. This sat sudetto no mood to celebrate. Rest of Europe is fast seeing us as clubs like ajax, zenit, benfica etc.. Only strong in own country. Bullies in own country. In europe tak jadi

Sabella hated Tevez that's why. Well, its their loss, Juve's gain. Eventhough i'd love to watch Tevez in world cup considering it could probably be
his last and maintain his sharpness for next season..but oh well..
last i read somewhere saying dat Alexis Sanchez will be considering moving to Juve only if Conte stay as the manager for future terms..
well we'll see how its going from here
*
i am still not convinced we can get Sanchez.. cry.gif

I think at most we can get for big name signing is a free transfer Evra.. + maybe Alessio Cerci and Senad Lulic doh.gif

I dont mind Evra, but I feel we should stop signing Serie A quality players anymore. We are already perfect domestically... we need players for conquering Europe

i think Evra is not kinda 'okay' signing...considering we need a right mix of youth & experience to succeed in Europe

and having Evra we can have a few tactical variation..in 4-3-3 for example. Evra at LB while Asamoah can move forward to LM/LCM position
*
yup. i welcome evra too nod.gif

but not cerci, gabianddini or lulic. these players are great for serie a no doubt, but they cant help raise the quality when it comes to the CL. got buy like no buy like that.... if they really come, it will be to make up the numbers.. like Peluso and Padoin, Vucinic etc.. laugh.gif waste wages waste time

the world is collapsing on us...

1. Conte left
2. Allegri the Italian David Moyes is here
3 .Vidal / Pogba is leaving
4. No Evra, Itrube or Morata.. we will be in for Victor Ibarbo, Alessio Cerci, loan + option to buy for some old wash up like Drogba or Etoo

It is over guys, back to the times before Conte came... back to the Amauris, the Tiagos, the Molinaros..

I will be out of this thread... I just cant take these 4 to 5 blows.. this self destruct by our Directors of football. It will be another 10 to 20 years or more before we will stop being a joke of Europe.. again

First the match-fixing scandal, now the BIGGEST SELF DESTRUCT IN WORLD FOOTBALL

i agree that the allegri effect is starting to rear its ugly head. Allegri's title winning season depended alot on individual brilliance (think Zlatan) to win games. As a team, that Milan side was netiher very tenacious, slick nor displayed alot of teamwork.

Our win against Empoli was something like this. We now cant stringa few pasess but we still won due to the individual brillance of Pirlo and Morata. This is concerning as unless we have a C.Ronaldo or L.Messi, individual brillance can only carry a team so far.. hmm.gif unsure.gif

By the way. Our most beloved Juve manager has retired from football.. just like his good pal Alex Ferguson cry.gif cry.gif

[Marcello Lippi retires from football management after Guangzhou title win

BEIJING, China -- World Cup-winning coach Marcello Lippi has retired from football management.

The 66-year-old Italian announced his decision on Sunday, after winning a third successive Chinese league title with Guangzhou Evergrande.

Lippi, who also won the 2013 Asian Champions League, said: "I don't want to coach anymore, I'm too old. Guangzhou Evergrande will have a new coach next season."

Lippi added that he will take over as technical director. Fabio Cannavaro is among the favorites to replace him as coach of the Chinese team.

Lippi steered Italy to World Cup success in 2006 but could not emulate that feat in his second spell in charge as the Azzurri was eliminated in the group stage four years later.

He also won the Champions League and five Serie A titles in two spells with Juventus.]

Its good to win. But we should not celebrate a 2-1 win. We could have had Chiello not slipped doh.gif

Alot of top teams have kena thrashed by BVB in Dortmund. Real Madrid was eliminated despite winning 3-0 in MAdrid. Apart from this season FC Bayern was also repeatdly beaten in Dortmund as well. And dont mention Arsenal. They got a raping too from no tactics Wenger.

So 2-1 is really not good enough. IF they can get their game on, we might be 3-0 nil down by half time. This tie is far from over. sweat.gif

nobody ever said this tie is over...maybe some over-optimistic Juve fan/neutrals

but one thing i learned from the first game, if Juve can repeat the defensive performance like the 2nd half, they will go through. Bcoz in the first
leg, apart from the "gift" handed by Chiellini, BVB doesn't threaten Buffon the entire match

b4 the match most ppl said dat Juve will hold up the possession while BVB will hit em on the counter, but what happening during the game was
the exact opposite. Now Juve holding the lead they can afford to play a little defensive and trying to hit BVB fragile defense with a counter.
Well, as u said it, hopefully they wouldn't get their game mode on early. But if Juve can snatch an early away goal they'll definitely disrupt BVB rhythm
*
ya i think full marks for allegri. tactically he seems to be better in europe than conte. not to say conte is not good. but allegri has that extra little exp than him.

allgegri did also beat barcelona and arsenal. hope we can still progress. like u said if we can do something like in the second half then yes we can go through. nod.gif

i doubt barza will start tonight considering he is just come back. i think evra will likely to start. i assumed the line up will be like this

buffon

bonucci-chellini-evra/barza

lich-march-vidal-pogba-perreyra

morotta-tevez/matri
*
No way Evra is gonna start as one of the center backs. He is a great left back and no way is he a center back. Ogbonna will start if Bazagli does not nod.gif

Also Matri will never start too. That guy is a squad player at best, has not played for Juve for a so long and for the past couple of games since he signed. We cant throw him on at such a situation against such top quality side like Dortmund.

Man its a nervous night. Top teams kena thrashed by Dortmund before at their home ground. we only going there with a 2-1 lead. Nervous sweat.gif icon_question.gif unsure.gif

sweet victory yes, but somehow im not really to excited about winning against this season of this season, they are currently not at their best form. It would be alot sweeter if ee beat them when they r in the best form. But I wont take anything from our victory tonight, allegri tactics n strategy works and very effective. I believe with this guy, we will have an even better future, touch wood. Winning Ucl for me still a bit too ambitious but who knows luck could be with us. But if we cant get Ucl, I really2 hope we will win a double this season with scudetto n coppa italia, especially coppa!. Anyway guys, goodnight n goodmorning.

thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Yup. Despite Dortmund's dormestic woes, they still top their group and beat Gala 4-1 and Arsenal 2-0. nod.gif

Also, Dortmund used to smash top clubs like Bayern, Real at the Signal Iduna Park so to win 3-0 and restricted them to 0 dangerous chances was rreally really impressive. Even if we dont win the UCL, at least Allegri has brought some respect back for Juve and calcio. He is so far proving to be not as lousy as I think he is hmm.gif rclxm9.gif

Porto or Monaco please

Hmm.. Porto might be another dark horse like us so I think Monaco is slightly better. I am sure we wont be like Arsenal so arrogant and complacent and our manager wont be like Wenger no tactics so I think we stand a better chance to progress if we get Monaco nod.gif

But Monaco should not be taken lightly too. No teams should be in the CL

Also I want to point out how sporting Jurgen Klopp was. He went to congratulate all of the Juve players and coach.

A very classy coach. I really hope he can get his team out of this slump and fight again in the league and Europe next season. He deserves it notworthy.gif
