If we look singapore, there sell iphone 5 without contract. So i still believe, there will be non contract version

Just buy from online Apple Store then. Wait a few weeks with RRP and no-contract. As easy as ABC

Also can buy from premium reseller

Those premium reseller usually got only ultra-limited stock. Some APR like Switch and Mac City sometimes doesn't get any iPhone stock at all, where as Machines will be selling the iPhone along with Maxis Plan

I think the most secured and non-hassle way is still the Online Apple Store

I dont know Switch selling iPhone
AFAIK, I never saw Switch have an iPhone, atleast at my place here

I dont know bout other branches..

Agreed! But for those who just wanted to buy it outright, no choice.

Either sit in front of computer and wait for the Online Apple Store to open-up for buying, or line-up and compete with other buyer who wish to purchase with plan(higher priority).

But line-up doesn't mean will secured you a non-contract iPhone. Therefor, sitting in front of computer is still a better route

If you are going to buy Apple Online Store unit, please be very fast if there is a release. Plenty of them waiting to buy and resell, same goes to those queue-ing at APR. If i remember correcty, none of the APR in Malaysia selling the iPhone outright, except Machines who partner with Maxis doing so.

Especially the 16GB of Black/White, will be remain as top selling model.

Shortage will not affect telco at first wave as they have allocated stocks since early, but not for RRP units.

The cycle repeat every year, with every iDevices, especially the iPhone 4 era. Even telco set can fetch RM 2.4k easily

If order from online Apple Store. How long will they take to ship?

Planning to get it maybe in the first few days but heard outright purchase abit hard right? Dont think Machines will sell it on the first day right?

Anyone that purchase outright from Machines can share their experience on last year iPhone 4S? Was it available on the first day of launch or any other ways to get it on the first few days?

Those on jelly bean try setting your voice recognition to Google instead of the lousy vlingo . Then try your s voice. You be surprise how s voice on jelly bean have improved tremendously compared to ics! Jelly bean rocks!
